I saw HP/pt2 in 3D (it opened 14th July here). Most of it was good, he changed the scene with McGonagall and Snape too much and lost the ironic line “I think so,” said Professor McGonagall dryly, “we teachers are rather good at magic, you know." I think that's been a failing with the films, they had an American scriptwriter and Americans don't understand irony (or the more subtle parts of British humour)
More importantly from Hagrid returning with Harry's "body" to his final battle with Voldemort was totally different from the book and basically crap.
As for the crapilogue, they looked FAR too young, totally unconvincing, even if the kids were cute

As I used to work in a couple of those outsourced callcentres taking calls from the U.S.A., you might even have spoken to me. (I'm the one that can actually speak English - that is a joke - I only wish I spoke Spanish half as well as my colleagues spoke English.)

I got hooked on Harry Potter fairly recently, and only read the books shortly before the fifth film came out. I've read them so many times since I used to get teased about it at work.

I recently read the Hunger Games for the first time, then the two sequels, all in one day.. I've now written some Hunger Games fanfics as well.

In my stories I try to keep the actual characters as close to canon as possible, bearing in mind of course that experiences change us, so the events in my stories may cause the characters to change somewhat, most notably in my "Bond" fic, The Harmony Bond.

Apart from in The Harmony Bond, which has Harry and Hermione soul-bonded (you couldn't really have guessed from the title, could you?) all my other Harry Potter stories have Harry paired with Ginny and Ron with Hermione. Prophecy Repeated is set in Harry and Ginny's old age and introduces a new young "Chosen One", putting Harry in Dumbledore's shoes as the headmaster trying to help him.

If you make a story/author alert, please make it a favourite story or make me a favourite author as that way people reading your page can be guided to my stories - I've found many great stories that way myself.

In the meantime I hope you enjoy my little efforts. I usually try to update fairly frequently, but bouts of depression, which have plagued me since my wife's sudden death just over two years ago, tend to leave me without ideas or enthusiasm sometimes.

Ladies always complain and gripe to their friends that there is never any good guys out there, and they always end up with assholes who mistreat them. Well ladies, next time you're complaining, maybe look up to see who you're complaining to, maybe that special someone is right there hanging on your every word as usual, screaming in his head "Why won't you give me a chance?"
