A little bit of background info:
I just recently began a computer school. I chose to go to that instead of going to college. I figured, why take all of the pointless gen eds when I could take this 6 month class and go straight into a career that I would enjoy? Can you honestly think of a reason why I should go to college?
I don't have many friends, mostly because I am so weird. My group is narrowed down to a few individuals who really know me.
There isn't much of anything else that may be interesting about me, but what could be is about how I became an author, and an Inuyasha fan:
One day I was on youtube, and I saw an Inuyasha video on the side bar. My curious self decided to see what it was (I've never had cable tv). I never saw the show before, but I decided to check out the video anyway. I forget which episode it may have been, but I got hooked on it nonetheless. Soon after that I started searching for more episodes. It was quite difficult on youtube, so I switched to a different site called veoh.com. My sister mentioned it one time in a conversation, and it just sort of popped into my mind.
So after about two months, I finished watching all 167 episodes and all the movies as well (Yes, I realize I have no life!). As those two months progressed I got more and more into the show. I couldn't get enough of it! So as you may have guessed I was extremely depressed to find out that it stopped after 167... I was, lets just say, quite pissed. In my anger I searched many sites to see if it was truly over. Of course it saddened me to find out that it was, but there was some good news too!
In my google adventures I managed to stumble across a site called fanfiction.net (Anyone heard of it?). I decided to pay it a visit because it said something along the lines of fictional Inuyasha stories (I was searching for Inuyasha, so it came up in the description). For about an hour or two I took sometime in reading a few stories. Some where good, and some not so good, but one definitely stood out as incredible.
This one story pretty much started everything for me. I read it, and realized that I loved it so much, that I just had to comment on it. It said I needed to be a member of the site in order to make a review, so with no further adieu, I created myself an account. Originally it was just so I could leave reviews for stories that I liked.
As time progressed and I continued reading that one story, I started talking to the author. We began to have short little emailing conversations about pointless what-nots, and soon became good friends. After a few weeks I came up with an idea. I wasn't sure if I wanted to make it into a story or tell her that she should. When I ran my summary passed her, she jumped with excitement and told me I should write it. I didn't think I had it in me, but she had convinced me otherwise. I never really thought I would get passed the first few chapters, because I didn't expect to get any readers... well you guys sure proved me wrong.
After reading that one amazing story, I managed to become a member of this site, read many amazing fanfics, met new friends, and even wrote a few stories of my own. Through all of my troubles and difficult misfortunes in life I always could rely on logging onto this site, and reading a story to cheer me up. This had truly changed my life, and I believe it was changed for the better. So I would like to thank the author of that one story. The one that changed me. The one that helped me so much. The one that made me happy when I was down. I would like to thank my biggest inspiration, and very good friend fallenrosepetal. With her story, Dancing Hearts, and the fact that she was so nice to me, I was able to get where I am now. By that I mean getting to the point where I am writing a well-liked story and enjoying it in the process. If anyone actually reads these bio things, then I implore you to read her stories. They changed my life and maybe they will shed some light for you too. Who knows? But I am asking you to at least give her stories a try, after all you gave mine a try... didn't you? If you don't like hers then you are crazy!
That's all I really have to say about me for now, but I think its enough. After all I don't want to give out any other personal information... but once again I would like to thank fallenrosepetal for changing my life for the better, and helping me find a passion in writing.
Some story ideas... not sure if they will be stories, so I will need people to tell me if it should be.
