Author has written 54 stories for Supernatural. I felt it was high time to actually write something here. Of course, the question is still, what? I am, like Dean, a huge fan of hyperbole, sarcasm, and pop culture. I'm not big on authority and I hate to fly. I like to think I care about others and I do my damndest never to show my emotions - although anger has been known to squeeze through the chinks in my walls. I was thrilled to "find" fan fiction shortly after becoming obsessed with Supernatural and finding out how easy the internet makes it to now be an obsessed fan. I have now managed to squeeze fan fiction and Supernatural into all aspects of my life. I have a number of wonderful friends that I've met through writing, reviewing, and general "fanning". I've even managed to squeeze fan fiction into my job and will be teaching a course in writing fan fiction in winter 2009 in the university writing program where I teach. Does this mean I think I'm the most qualified to teach it because I'm the best writer on the site? Hell no! But I do know where to go to find wonderful examples of writing for my students to emulate! I will also be doing my third paper on fan fiction at an academic conference in March 09. I am doing my best to spread the word: fan fiction rocks! I am chronologically older than I am virtually. I have three cats, one horse, one dog, and one hubby. I currently have three jobs and am attending law school full time. Yeah, um, I may be crazy... So if you don't see updates as quickly as you would like on my stories, that's why. I wish I could write full time but until I win the lottery, it's not to be... I do write some smut and slash - it's clearly marked. Most of my slash, so far, centres on the wonderful AU creation Incubus by Crimson1. I highly recommend her work. Update: 27/02/09 I am mourning the loss of Kim Manners. I am dying for our mini-hiatus to be over already. I am soooo thankful we get a season five! I am utterly swamped at the moment, so writing on hold for a bit... I am still working on my WIPs but conference papers are taking precedence at the moment.
