Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter. I love returning here and seeing how much I've changed. I don't think I'll ever remove this fabulous piece from fourteen year old me in 2007: "How are u all? Mi name's aMAnda. I totally love writing and reading but also love singing and dancing - anything to do with music!" Charming, wasn't I? God. It's incredible the way our writing and grammatical machinations change as we grow up! I've been thinking about changing my username - but PinkMusicalCherry has been the name signed on millions and millions of the reviews I've left over the years! Stuck on all those poor souls' review alert emails, haha. I'm currently working on a story in which Hermione travels back in time - hardened by the war - and initiates a few changes to our beloved universe. Maybe I ought to change my Pen Name when I post it? Hmmm. I'm going to be removing and replacing all the current stories I have - not changing the content of them, just removing the darn awful Author's Notes I used to write when I was fourteen!!! I was so embarrassing, haha. I'm currently 19 and, I feel, a lot more sensible with the ways I use the English language. I am still completely captivated by good reads, good music, good films/TV/people/most things that are good really. My best talent is probably my skill at driving conversations in the most absurdly fascinating and obtuse directions imaginable. Deathly Hallows Part 2 was what got me back into Harry Potter mode. This site is not good for one who needs to kick an unhealthy procrastination habit! (If anyone has assignment writing tips, and hints to avoid this site when serious deadlines are approaching, I'd be all ears please!) 2012 hasn't been my best year, but I am hopeful that things get better and will get better (and stay better!) so that my life and my writing can move forward :) | |||||||
