My name is Dawn, I live in the rainy state of Washington. I am 28 years old, and a mother of a 9 year old girl and 7 year old boy. I have been with my husband for 10 years, and married for seven years. I am in college for Nursing and hope to work in the Seattle Children's Hospital. I really enjoy anime and my favorite by leaps and bounds is Naruto. My favorite characters are as follows in order: Naruto, Sasuke, Itachi, and Kakashi. I pretty much won't read a Naruto story where Naruto is not one of the main characters.

As long as the story is good I can handle any pairing. However, yaoi is my all time favorite and I adore SasuNaru more than any other pairing.

I love music. I have it on almost all the time and I am very eclectic in my choices, but my two favorites are rock and techno. I love to read and have been absorbed into books since the age of 9, it was a great escape route for me. I have WAY to many Authors I love to put them all down, but three of my favorites are JK Rowling (Harry Potter series), Christopher Paolini (Eragon series) and Stephenie Meyer (Twilight series).

I have a tendency to become 'obsessed' with things I love, like when I played Final Fantasy X or Kingdom Hearts II and only got off to sleep and eat occasionally. Or when I watched 220 episodes of Naruto in 1 week and read all the manga in 3 days. Thankfully I have a understanding husband who just tries to wait it out and is just happy that he has a wife who enjoys Anime, video games, music and pretty much all the same things he does.

I really dislike rude people and live with the philosophy that if a person has something even remotely negative to say about someone else's story then they should leave a review containing constructive criticism or keep their opinions to themselves. Saying things like "your story sucks" or "I don't like how you write" is really pathetic and immature. Most authors don't mind getting constructive critisim if it's done in a thoughtful, meaningful way. What is a constructive review? How do you leave one?

Plan before you do it. Make sure you know what you want to say, and why. Have a clear path through the discussion. Leave room for questions and dialogue. Build the person up. Before you get to the criticism itself, focus on positives. Highlight some of the good work the person has done. Emphasize positive, solid qualities that the person brings to the table. Provide clear criticism. Now it’s time to bring your concerns to the table. Do it as concisely as possible, and as clearly as possible. Build the person up again. Focus on solutions.
