Author has written 13 stories for Alpha Force, and Faerie Wars Chronicles. Take a look at my avatar and you've basically got me pegged: dog person with really crap eyesight. If you want to know a bit more, then, well, I suppose I could toss some dot points out there: -My name's Em -I'm Australian -I'm nineteen -I work in a liquor store, which is kind of amusing since I don't drink and know absolutely squat about anything to do with alcohol -I write, train dogs, attempt to take photographs and spend a lot of weekends at agility trials -I'm either incredibly mature or incredibly immature; there is no chance of healthy middle ground here -I'm predisposed to be sarcastic, cynical and blunt but there are pleasant- at times borderline gushing- bones in my body and they like to have a say in responses, too -I like to write things with lots of plot points, lots of puzzle pieces and lots of threads that end up connected or at least tangled -I may be a teensy tiny bit obsessed with dialogue -And commas 'cause, you know, they're kinda the cutest punctuation out there -I'm not so good at transitioning dialogue to action to description and back again, but I'm trying to muddle it out -If you put the word "bear" after the word "koala", I will track you down and make you regret it I'm happy to beta read pretty much anything, but be warned that I am a pretty "hard core" editor and I don't just stick to checking spelling and grammar; if you're not open to constructive criticism, or feel particularly precious about what you've written, don't ask me for help because you won't be happy :) I stick to the Alpha Force section on here because it's a small community where pretty much everyone knows (being a relative term, of course, since this is the murky waters of the inter webs) each other and it's kind of the only fan fiction I'm somewhat capable of writing. | |||||||||
