My name is Christy. I suppose I'll give you a little information about me. I am a student in a small, 130 person, Christian high school. I plan on attending culinary school or becoming a midwife when I graduate (if only I could decide!). Consequently, you will probably see pregnancy show up in my stories. :D I play the lever harp and enjoy reading, learning French (I'm Canadian), baking, chocolate work, singing and ballroom dancing (which I haven't done in a while...). I hate anything athletic. I'm simply not suited to running around or chasing a ball, plus I hardly have a competitive bone in me.

I love Gilmore Girls. Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband Dan are two absolute geniuses! Now that Gilmore Girls is over I continue to read and write fan fiction to fill that empty place in my heart (I also frequently return to old episodes for comfort). I will read almost all pairings. I am especially partial to Rory/Jess and of course, Lorelai/Luke. I'm not too fond of Rory/Dean or Marty, or Lorelai/Chris, but I would still give them a chance. Oh, and contrary to some people's beliefs, I think that Lucy and Olivia make great friends for Rory. Paris is wonderful friend, but she can get a little intense sometimes.

I also like 8 Simple Rules and anything on the Food Network, but it's a little hard to write fanfiction for Iron Chef America, isn't it?

I hope that you will enjoy my writing. I am completely open to constructive criticism. I know it's the only way I'll improve. Of course, I appreciate all reviews. What author doesn't? I'm not very good at managing my time or coming up with well-thought-out ideas, so please forgive my sloth-like progress.
