Hey guys!

My name is Julia, and I love writing and reading! Well, that is a stupid remark, cause otherwise I'd not be here on this site...

However, I am trying to write some English stuff now so that you all can read and understand it if you like to, but please do not be too critical- it is hard to express oneself in a language that is not your mothertongue, and I may still make mistakes, too. (Plus, I learned British English, but have American relatives and friends, so I might mix that up a bit, especially now that I've started university with all the different lecturers...)

So, I'll start off as a rookie here, contrary to my German "career" where I have already had a short story published in a magazine. (Although I have no clue how this happened... lol)

favourite books: Harry Potter, all books by Banana Yoshimoto (she is my writing idol!) and other by Japanese authors such as Haruki Murakami

favourite manga: Tokyo Babylon, X/1999 (when the hell will CLAMP continue with this??), Detective Conan, some manga by Tanemura Arina and Yoshizumi Wataru

favourite anime: Digimon (seasons 1 + 2 only), Pokemon, X, Detective Conan (Case Closed in the USA), Inu Yasha

favourite dorama: Hana Yori Dango, Mei-chan no shitsuji, Nodame Cantabile, Maou, Kimi wa petto, Hana Kimi, Zettai Kareshi, Love Shuffle, Shikaotoko Aoniyoshi...

favourite pokemon: Eeeve, Skitty, Squirtle, Chikorita (I know the first part sounds like May but I just love these pokemon and did so before she got them. Maybe that's why I like her so much. Or they are just girly pokemon and me and May are really girly-like xD), Turtwig (turtle pokemon rule!!), Cyndaquil, Dratini, Lapras, Girafarig
I am not exactly a strong trainer, and you could probably all beat me because I am a) not so keen on winning all the time and all the battle stuff and b) I never evolve my favourite pokemon- so in my Silver Edition I have an Eevee level 97. O.o Btw, I really want to bring my Diamond Edition on Wi-Fi to share my friend's code, but it won't work...

favourite musicians: Garnet Crow, Arashi, Utada Hikaru, ayaka, Tamaki Hiroshi, Takei Shiori...

likes: turtles, good books, beautiful music, rain and snow, the colour blue (no, I'm not depressive- well, sometimes... usually I am a very cheerful person), nice people, and many things that won't pop into my mind now... oh, yes, I am a green apple fanatic. Don't ask me why. And instead of coffee I drink icetea or eat tons of sugar to keep me in a hyper mood. xD
Plus, I am a lip smackers fanatic!! lol

dislikes: evil, snobs, show-offs, killing animals for others purposes than eating (I know, I should be a vegetarian...), too hot weather (makes me weak) and more things, but I don't want to complain about every little detail here. I really HATE it when my friends suffer and I can't do anything about it.

what I am doing when not writing: reading, singing at home or in the karaoke box (I LOVE singing!), playing Pokemon, watching TV (but usually only my weekly series), playing the Sims sometimes (waiting for The Sims 3 eagerly!) chatting with my friends. I am also writing song lyrics for other people's stories, or for mine, or just to express my feelings, and I even tried to come up with music for some of them, but even if I have a melody playing in my head, I can't seem to fix it. Plus, my piano skills are awful. Absolutely horrible. And my self-teaching for guitar does not seem to work...
Oh, and of course I am studying a lot! Mostly for my Japanese courses, because I really want to learn the language as fast as possible!

occupation: studying Japanese at the Freie Universität Berlin (Free University Berlin / ベルリン 自由大学 )

aims: ... if only I knew this... I was thinking of becoming a translator because I could work at home which is pretty handy when you intend to have children some day. Of course, if I finish one of my books and IF it should be successful, I would love to be a writer. However, after university I want to go to Japan and work there as a kind of teacher for German and maybe English. That would be really great. (Lol, maybe someone will discover me at a Karaoke bar! xDDD)
Lately, I have been thinking a lot- I would really like to be someone who helps others. It just makes me happy to help- much as it makes me sad to see someone I like suffer. So if you a problem you would like to talk about- maybe I can try to help you? I would be honoured if you asked me for advice, really.

May and the Seven Poke-Dwarves
Contestshipping version of Snow White. May doesn't really match Prince Drew's image of a certain princess- or does she? Twisted and completely insane. XD
Fantasy/Humor
--> I guess I'll make this a long oneshot or a short series

Flatmates
After both winning in the same competition, May and Drew share the first price- a flat. But can they really bear each other, or worse, each other's partners?
Romance/Humor
--> decided to turn this into a German fanfic and a collaboration with a friend as well; but we need to write our first collaboration series "Stage On!" first (sorry, also German)

Actually, I am working on an idea right now: My first original Pokemon story! Yay! xD
The canon characters will appear in it from time to time, but the actual heroine shall be my invented character. And I will give her all of my favourite Pokemon! Woohoo!

Here are my two main characters:

Lily:
age: 12
hair colour: brown
eye colour: brown
hometown: Goldenrod City
aims: being a coordinator like her older sister
character: nice, sometimes timid, afraid of battles, peaceful, pensive, gets hyperactive over good romance stories
Pokemon: Eevee, Squirtle, Chikorita, Skitty, Turtwig and some others (I know I just gave her my favs, but don't flame me, she is no self-insert, honestly! Because my real self insert will make a cameo in one chapter and you'll all crack up, believe me. xD)
Lily has been brought up by her elder sister who is very reluctant about letting her travel on her own. Finally, with two years delay, at her 12th birthday, she is allowed to leave for her journey with her loyal Eevee. Every girl in Lily's family has one Eevee evoluton, so she has the hard task to decide which one she wants. This mixed with her confused emotions about growing up makes her journey a trip of ups and downs, but of course, she is never alone.

Alec:

hometown: Pastoria City
aims: being a Pokemon master like his older brother
character: bold, but self-conscious inside, sometimes a bit too quick to jump into adventures
Pokemon: Bulbasaur and various other plant pokemon (most of them with one other type)
Alec has been on his journey for three years now and has therefore achieved some battle skills. Nonetheless, he still strives to defeat his older brother, a known Pokemon champion and also his rival in another matter... When he meets Lily, circumstances force them to travel together, but when they eventually grow into the other, new steps need to be taken by both of them...

Another note: A really good friend of mine, SUWAMOTO, has also uploaded a story here. When you are reading my stories, you could read hers as well. For us foreign writers feedback is especially important, since in addition to the story problems everyone has, we also have to deal with a language that is not our mother tongue.
She is sooooo awesome! She has dedicated a video to me! ME! I felt like crying when I read her dedication... You must read the story of such a nice girl!
Oh, and by the way- she is mostly into Ikarishipping, but also CS like me. If she manages to convert me, I might be into IS soon enough, too!
