I bid you hello and welcome to my personal profile. My name is Syrus and I have been a functioning member of the fandom for three years and counting. My presence here is not as heavy as it used to be, but I'll be getting back to my stories eventually. I've got a quaint little forum where you can usually find me and I am open to receiving both PMs and direct emails. I don't do much beta work anymore but I still try to write what I can when I get the chance. I'll be going more into my activity on FFN and more about me personally later on in the profile, but I won't waste anymore of your time. Writing

My writing is a work in progress. I have two stories posted currently. Both of which I haven't updated in ages, much to my chagrin. I am working on a new chapter for the adopted story, Hime no Youko, which I renamed in Japanese (hell, why not?) and I'll be going back at some point to refurbish the old chapters. Don't be surprised if I change stuff either. If you see something in a latter chapter that contradicts something you read, then go back and reread that part. I might toss up a couple stat sheets for my stories if I get back into the habit of updating and writing new ones. I hope to complete the new chapter in the very near future. I scrapped the old drafts of this chapter, so this is from scratch. I've decided to play with this story a little more than I would have before, so I hope you all aren't too offended. It'll go on for fifteen or twenty chapters and then I think I'll wrap it up. After that, I want to readdress The Hurricane Chronicles, and expand on its original theme as a novelization of the canon. After that, I'll go on to write another long one and a bunch of one-shots in between. Then I'll probably stop writing fanfiction for a while, unless I really want to again.

Forums

I occasionally visit the forums, but recently I've been trying to muster the will to write stories again. I still make sporadic appearances, but I've mostly moved on like everybody else. Mostly the forums are just meaningless noise and since the dawn of the RP forums, there's been an overall decrease in the collective IQ of the forums all over the site. Flame Rising and Co., the Omnipotent Ones, Octavarius Kaiser Scott, and a host of other trolls have all vanished. The first page of the forums looks completely different now than it did a year or two ago. Looks like we're in for a dark age.
