Author has written 4 stories for Read or Die, and Harry Potter. J.D. Night Mhal el' Osama Ghobhadi, born as Janan Dalal Osama Ghobhadi, is an unpublished screenwriter who had joined the R.O.D fansite of Dreams of Twilight August of 2008, the Read or Die Livejournal community of November 2008 as well as several other Livejournal communities, including a number of Harry Potter related ones, and several Harry Potter fansites of this June, including Muggle.net (mainly just for the news--not the forums). Born posthumously to a half-European, half-Iranian-Afghan mother and to a desceased half-European, half-Iraqi father, J.D. grew up in a Kurdish village between the Iraq and Iran borders until the sudden terrorism of 9/11. Following the former President George Bush's declaration of war over the middle east and the fall of Saddam Hussein, J.D., along with her mother and twin sister, were forced by the Iraqi government to relocate to the refugee camps on the Iraq-Turkish border in the year 2003 where they stayed there for nearly three years. There, she and the other refugees (mainly the children) were recruited into brutal warfare against the American veterans and most terrifyingly, their very own kind, in order to survive. And through her mesmerizing experiences as a so-called ''child soldier'' struggling to survive in the age of war, this is what she had learned...This is how wars are fought now: by children, traumatized, hopped-up on drugs just to sustain their ravaging hunger, weilding sub-machines and AK-47s. Children have become the soldiers of choice. As adults believe, children are deemed as the future--the future of war and politics. J.D., once at heart a gentle young girl, found that almost anyone in this world, good or evil, is capable of truly terrible acts. Then, in late 2005, J.D. and her family were able to escape from the Iraq-Turkish refugee camp and seek help from the French Embassy. From there, they smuggled across the Asian border where they later settled in the UK for the duration of that same year. In the summer of 2006, J.D. and her family flew from the UK to the United States of America where they settled in several states , including Manhattan, New York, and later traveled midwest where they are currently residing in Las Vegas, Nevada. Since her family's immigration, their legal sir names have been converted to Waller, an English name derived from their partly British ancestory. Though she chooses to use her Muslim-Arabic name as her permanent pen-name, whereas her twin chooses the opposite, J.D.'s legal ''American'' alias is formerly Katherine Elizabeth Waller, her middle name influenced by Queen Elizabeth I. Over the course of three years (going on four), J.D. has been exhaustively researching and collaborating on a script adaption to the R.O.D. the TV anime series co-written with her twin sister (formerly known as Sarah Rose Waller), whereas she first viewed the series in 2005 during a television broadcasting while still residing in the Iraq-Turkish refugee camp. Mesmerized and inspired by the harrowing story, she easily connected her own life story to the fictional, though realistic characters (especially the young agent, Junior) and from then on has strived into reaching higher goals than most would have ever dreamed of. Since her unwelcomed arrival in the US as a deemed ''terrorist'', J.D., despite society's prejudice gestures, has dedicated her life fully to studying theatre, such as script writing, directing, costume designing, etc., in order to embrace a future. One can say she is chivalrously climbing the path of the yellow bricked road to reaching success, despite her ill-treatment by pears alike because of diversity-intelligence wise, but is also striving towards the achievement of healing and winning back all hummanity from a long and devastating war age. Despite her harrowing childhood and the loss of innocence at a relatively young age, she relentlessly battles through life fighting the plagues of mental illnesses and doctors, miserable school life and deemed genius potential from adults of all classes. As a Chinese proverb states: falling leaves return to their roots, as J.D. just does this. ''For I have lived my life again, time and time again, telling it to you.'' In October of 2008, J.D. had uncallingly been diagnosed with Asperger's Disease, a form of autism, and now welcomes her diversity from other children fully and luckily, no longer attends public high school because of it and now partakes in independent study--an option that lives fully to her needs in education. Then, on October 8, 2008, an unfortunate fate came her way--suffering from multiple dizzy spells within the course of two months, she had been diagnosed with leukimia, though still at its early stages, and keratitis, a painful condition of the eye where the corena becomes inflamed causing severe blindness; in which both conditions have resulted in long-term surgery. And with the awakening of the month of March 2008, she had been unexpectedly diagnosed with yet another physical illness--mononucleosis (which then became full-bloom Epstein-Barr virus) in that she has carried within her immune system for over a year earlier without realization, and has resulted in a far longer term of hospitalization. Despite her ill state, J.D., after seventeen months of hard work, has now completed the script adaptation of R.O.D. the TV, in that has spanned into two scripts (and of which are both copyrighted by the Sreenwriter's Agecy and Writer's Guild of America), and is currently promoting them to screenwriter's agents, producers, and film studios. In addition, she has also collaborated on several costume designs and a film companion to the R.O.D scipts as well as several commentaries. In the meantime, J.D. is currently on co-collaboration with her sister on several spin-off Harry Potter fan fictions dealing with the Marauders Era as well as two new projects--an original stage script with a musical and non-musical version, Red Orchestra: A Children's Tragedy, and a dystopian/utopian saga, Purple Summer. | |||||||||
