About Me:

Hello Mates! TravelingThroughTime here, an author, an animal lover, an adventurer, a Keanu Reeves fan, a Guy Pearce fan, a Christian Bale fan, Ben Barnes fan and a lot of other little things too. I love to read. Tolkien would have to be my favorite author with Wells and the Bronte sisters coming in next (and countlss others). I have a lot of things going on in my life as of right now. My computer is giving me the run around for one thing, I'm waiting to hear from college and I have a LOT of stories that I really need to finish...(wipes sweat). I had a website, but because I was being spammed, I closed it down. I want to revamp it a bit anyhow. Well I suppose this says quite enough about me. I'm no one famous and I'm certainly not rich. I don't claim any rights to any of the fandoms I write fanfiction for...thus why they put the 'fan' in front of 'fiction' my friends. So, while you're here, you might as well have a bit of eye candy and see if I've written anything you may be interested in. Have a fun stay and review if you like.

My Fanfiction:

You can see what I enjoy writing for by viewing the stories down below. If a fandom is no longer popular, that doesn't bother me. I do not write fanfictions because I want to win a popularity contest; I write for inspiration and favoritism. I also try to finish all of my stories within a years time. It's unfair to leave loyal readers hanging, so I try to avoid that.

I am not the best poet and I certainly am no good at writing song-based fanfictions. I usually try to write a story that has some meaning, a story that has some adventure, romance, drama, suspense, peril and even a touch of humor. I have to do all my writing at night, because it's the only time I have to do so. I'm really busy throughout the day and have morning classes and pets that consume my time.

I am almost all shipper when it comes to certain movies, books etc. though this applies mostly to my stories. I'll keep an open mind to your OCs but only if you're using a substantial character who is believable and relatable. I hate Mary-Sues and work hard to avoid them, but I don't over do it. I took the universal Mary Sue test and scored well. None of mine can be considered Sues.

My own original characters are not the reason behind my writing. I like them okay, but my plans for them do not dance about in my head like my plans for the canon characters do, though I do have good plans for them. My original characters play anywhere from a small to medium role and they never steal the spotlight from the canons. Some of my Constantine OCs were inspired by some of the comic characters from Hellblazer, but with my own twist added of how I think they would be in the movie.

I can't and simply won't write graphic smut or slash. I can imply a little scandal, I can imply a mild sexual situation, but I do intend to keep it tame. We cannot control who looks at our stories here on this site, but we should take into consideration that children have access here, though kids need to check the ratings too.

My Constantine fanfictions contain not only violence and adult content, but also harsh dialogue. There is a lot of cursing in those stories but I have a special way that I write certain curse words namingly using God's name. I do not like to write God's name in vain, and if I can avoid it or do it tastefully in my own stories, then I will. I will imply it by writing G - d-- and it may be distracting considering I have no problem writing out the other curse words, but that's just the way I roll.

When it comes to story ideals, they float in my head often. I never know when something new may inspire me. Once I begin to type, I cannot stop and it all just comes together. Hopefully good. When I do write, I sort of tend to fall into my own little world, drowning out the frustrations of reality...which is good and bad.

I take writing seriously. I don't just slam stories onto my account just because everyone else does. I am using this site to develop my own style of writing and story telling so that I may pursue my dream of being a famous author. Yes, besides fanfiction, I am working on several original novels that I am aiming to get published.

I believe that in order for a fanfic to be really enjoyable as well as worth reading, the author should love and appreciate the fandom well enough to know the ends and outs of the movie, book, comic, show etc. they are writing a story for. Never go into fanfictions blindly, because people want their favorite characters to be kept in tact. I myself am not one to change a characters originality.

I am not an amateur writer. I've been writing my own stories since second grade and my teachers have always encouraged my parents to see about getting my work published, and that was way back then. I like to think that my writing has improved as I have studied many books on Litarature and hope to do the same in College.

If you would like to add my stories to a C2 community, no need to ask.

A Bisexual Constantine:

This is why my Constantine fictions are movie-based, other than the fact that they are in the Constantine section under movies. Check the Vertigo section in comics for Hellblazer. I am no good at writing a character to be attracted to the same sex...it's just not my thing and I really don't think that movie John would be as likely to have a bloke as he would Angela. It's not becomming of him and he loves her. But everyone has their own ideals I suppose. Even if it does take away from the characters originality (movie-wise).

John Constantine was not portrayed of being bisexual in the movie. If you know anything about Hellblazer, you will see that he is in fact very, very different from the comic John in more ways than many. For instance, comic John didn't even like to use guns and mainly used trickery whereas movie John was just the opposite. Movie John was only referred to as being attracted to women and that is the John I base my fanfictions on... the movie John, or straight John.

Reviews:

Reviews are great, especially when someone offers you a well-rounded critic or gives you a good story suggestion. I like receiving them, but they aren't my main reason for posting fanfictions. If you don't want to review me, I won't get mad. I have countless people who have added my stories to their favorites and their alerts list, and they haven't even reviewed. That's completely up to the reader if whether or not they want to review me.

Don't be afraid to offer me your honest opinion or some friendly pointers. I am a grammar friend and if you see a mistake, please point it out. Just, do not be harsh and call my stories rubbish. My stories aren't rubbish and you'll be the only one who thinks so. Just think about it. I'm just asking that you're polite. And do not bite me if my favorite pairings aren't your favorite pairings. We all have our own ideals for romance and I'm sure that if my story isn't your ideal of a good one, you're bound to find something you'll like somewhere else. I do not reticule to others about what they should or shouldn't write, so don't reticule to me. I respect the interests of others so please respect mine.

Also, do not be sarcastic with me. As a well-mannered individual, I do not appreciate anyone who is rude and sarcastic, and do not use your nationality (lack of English skills) as an excuse. Yes, this is in reference to someone who's name is similar to Silver with an 'a' on the end.

If you flame me, you will get nothing across and I'll just laugh because flames are something that people do when they are not only bitter and miserable, but a loser within themselves who are using this site as a chance to slam someone, that in person, they would think twice before doing so. So, with flames I'll win and you'll lose because you have no reason to flame any of my stories.

Spotting A Fake:

The only thing that bothers me at times is the simple fact that many people make it a ritual to review themselves, ensuring that they not only receive an honorable amount of reviews, but to let the other reviewers know just how lame they are for criticizing and that they know how the author feels and admire them for whatnot. I myself do allow anonymous reviews, but I just want everyone to know that I do not review myself. It not only makes a writer look vain, but insecure of their own work.

Private Messaging:

Would you like to say hi? Ask me about or talk to me about something that concerns fanfiction? Or perhaps discuss interests and just chat...I love hearing from you!

Disclaimer:

I make no claim to the fandoms my fiction is based on. I'm just having fun and practicing my writing.
