"Slothspieller...?!" I hear you ask in puzzlement? Well, my pen name represents my two obsessions in life, namely sloths and Dietrich von Lohengrin (the Marionettespieller) from Trinity Blood. The manga series I adore most are RG Veda and Shaman King, while my favorite anime series are Saint Seiya, Trinity Blood, Scryed, and Utena. Reading stories from the amazing and often surreal realm of fanfiction is one of the delights I indulge in, along with writing the occasional fanfic myself when the inspiration strikes me. Some the characters that intrigue me most are Dietrich, Isaak, and Radu (Trinity Blood), Shiryu, Hyoga, and Shun (Saint Seiya), Ryuho (Scryed), Yoh, Hao, Ren, and Silva (Shaman King), Utena, Juri, Akio, and Mikage (Utena). The pairing that I'm obsessed with is undoubtedly IsaakxDietrich. Also, some other pairings I like to write about are CainxIsaak and RaduxDietrich.

As well as manga, I also enjoy reading novels and short stories, in particular classic and historical fiction. Some authors that I admire include Brian Jacques, Margarete George, Joseph Conrad, and Emily Bronte. I'm also fond of Romantic literature- The "Keats& Shelley" kind, not the "Mills&Boon" sort that is!

Since numerous authors seem to be in the habit of listing their favorite music artists, here are some of mine: Samira Saeid, Rachid Taha, Habib Koite, Tinariwen, Gorillaz, Madonna, Wu Bai and China Blue, the Twelve Girls Band, Yoshida Brothers, Sunidhi Chauhan, and a bunch of other obscure rai singers you've probably never heard of. Even though I am unable to understand the lyrics, quite a few of Wu Bai's passionate and angst ridden song remind me of Isaak and Dietrich's torrid relationship (for some mysterious reason). In addition, I listen to more rai (Arabic rock/pop) and Bollywood music than is probably good for me!

After waiting for 6 months any brave soul to review that pathetic excuse for a Lion King II fanfiction I wrote in my younger days, I finally deleted it to save space in the LK section for the more worthy tales of other writers. However, if anybody did enjoy the story and would like to read the rest, it's not too late to let me know with a PM. Also, some new fanfics in the process of being written include a swashbuckling adventure featuring a certain Time Lord, as well as a fic that takes much artistic liberty with Isaak's origin.

What is that little creature hanging so jauntily upside down up there? Well, it's none other than a "Choloepus", or two-toed sloth!
