Author has written 3 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist. Hello! This is Pojo-san here! Thank you for visiting my profile, though I'm pretty sure that all you want to do is to take a look at my other stories, and most likely have scrolled right past this. For those of you who haven't and are actually interested in me, I'll keep this brief. Here we go! -Name: Pojo-san. Oh, you want my real name? That's for me to know and for you to find out. -Age: 20 -School: I'm going to a Community College right now to get my basics done. Afterward, I would like to transfer to University of Houston and enter their pre-med program. I would like to be a Radiologist and a writer. -Country: I was born and raised in Texas. I plan on staying in Texas for the rest of my life. -Favorite Movies: My current favorites are District 9, Pan's Labyrinth, Mr. Brooks, Number 23, Sweeney Todd, Phantom of the Opera, and Avatar. -Favorite books: let's see -starts digging through her book pile- Man, I need to organize this better... Ok here we go. So far my favorite books are "Street Magic" by Tamora Pierce, "The Two Princesses of Bamarre" by Gail Levine, "The Other Side of Dark" by Joan Nixon, "How To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, "The Stranger" by Albert Camus, and I'm currently reading "A Clockwork Orange" by Anthony Burgess. I do not doubt that "A Clockwork Orange" will be my favorite book of all time, and when I'm done with it I would like to watch the movie (Alex DeLarge is one sexy motherfucker). I have a few books lined up for me to read after that one, and they are "The Silence of the Lambs" by Thomas Harris, "The Chronicles of Vlad Todd" by Heather Brewer, and "Need" by Carrie Jones. -Favorite Manga: -stares at her manga pile- Hmmm... I really need to get a bookshelf for that... Anyway let's start digging! -starts going through her pile- Let's see Fullmetal Alchemist, Deathnote, Immortal Rain, D-Gray Man, Kare Kano, and Hellsing. They could be others but I can't think of them right now. -Favorite Television shows: I enjoy House and Dexter most of all. In fact, I'm going to watch the movie Gamer because it has Micheal C. Hall in it who is the guy who plays Dexter in well... Dexter. A few other shows would be Heroes, 24, NCIS, Doctor Who, Red Dwarf (one of the most funniest shows that was ever made), and Whose Line is it Anyway? I'm a chick who loves to play video games. My top 5 favorite games are: 1. Final Fantasy X: This is a game that everyone should play just for the story. One of the odd things about the game is that you don't really level up. You are give something called a Sphere Grid that contains the stat building, the magic, and other abilities and you have a little icon that will travel along the spaces (which are called nodes by the way) depending on how many sphere points you get. I need to ask something to any and everyone that plays FFX: What does Luck do? It is probably the most useless stat in the whole game, and you would have to waste Level 3 or even Level 4 Key spheres for this which, might I add, are really hard to come by. Their drop rate is like 10 percent or even less! Someone please enlighten me! 2. Portal: It is a 2-3 hour puzzle game that does not over stay its welcome. It has a smooth difficulty curve meaning that the test chambers get steadily harder as you play with test chamber 19 being the hardest puzzle to solve because you have to utilize everything that you have learned in the other 18 chambers in this one with some new twists. I have also liked the end which was something that I did not see coming, and the portal gun is fun thing to play with when I just want to dick around for a few minutes. 3. American McGee's Alice: This games ties in with Portal for second place on my list of personal favorite games. Now, I want to conduct a little experiment with you my lovely reader. Ok look around from where you are sitting and find a pencil or pen. Don't keep reading to see what happens just do it. If you have to get up to get one go ahead. I will wait... You don't have pencil or pen yet do you? Stop reading and go find one now! ...I'm not kidding! Go find one!... You got one? Good. Ok take the pencil or pen and place it in between your pointer finger and middle finger. For those who don't know what these fingers are, your pointer finger is the one that is right next to your thumb and is the one that you use to point at stuff with, and your middle finger is the one that is right next to your pointer finger and is the one that you use to flip people off with. Are we clear on that? Ok, place the pencil or pen in between these two fingers. Now, use your other hand to squeeze those two fingers together and round the pencil or pen as hard as you can at the base of your fingers. I'm sure that some of you have noticed quite quickly that this hurts a lot, and your fingers are throbbing in pain. That is your punishment for not playing American McGee's Alice. For those of you have played this great game, I'm terrible sorry for doing that to you. American McGee's Alice truly is a great game. I absolutely adore this game. American McGee's Alice is the twisted and disturbing sequel to Alice and Wonderland. Ten years after she tumbled through the looking-glass and into Wonderland, Alice now resides inside a mental asylum. After her parents are killed in a tragic fire, the young girl grows up to become a disturbed young woman. After failing to convince people that her visit to Wonderland was indeed real, Alice is given a second chance to return to this strange realm. However, Wonderland became just as disturbed and macabre as she is. Old friends are now foes, imagination gets turned into madness, and what was once a fairytale becomes wide awake nightmare. Go watch the game trailer on Youtube(dot)com. Just type in American McGee's Alice trailer, it's awesome! After you do that, run to your local store and buy the game. It's on the PC only though, so don't bother trying to buy it for the 360, PS3, or the Wii. 4. Okami: Okami is my number one favorite game, hands down. I adore this game because mostly of the graphics which are like a Japanese painting, and if you look closely enough you can see the bumps as if the whole scene is painted on a canvas. I love the story also because it is based off of many Japanese myths, and it tells it really well. The game is a blend of Legend of Zelda, old Japanese legends, and painting. You can actually paint in the game like for example: if you draw a straight line across an enemy it will cut them in half, or if you draw a circle in the sky the sun will come out while if you draw a crescent the moon would come out and it would become night time. I would recommend playing this game to everyone. I love it. What ever you do, do not get it for the Wii because the controls are awkward so I recommend getting this for the PS2 5. Prototype: Where do I begin with this one? Well you play as Alex Mercer who wakes up in an ally with no memory of what happened to him. You immediately become the target of a secret military organization called Blackwatch who wants you dead. The reason being is because you carry a mutated form of deadly virus that allows you to alter yourself down the genetic level. Your weapons are a pair of clawed hands (my favorite), a giant blade, iron fists (highly effective against tanks), and a whip that, if you get the correct upgrade, does ridiculous amounts of damage over long distances (works well against helicopters). You can also disguise yourself as someone else by consuming them. By consuming them I mean eating. You eat people in this game, and even though it sounds nasty it's actually quite fun! One of favorite things to do in this game is to eat a commander, disguise myself as him, sneak into a military base, and just go nuts on the people inside with my claws and whip. The other is jumping down from a very tall building, slamming my fists into the ground, and causing a huge shock wave that throws cars and people about like rag dolls. One time I did it right in front of a military base and didn't realize it until a tank shot me in the face. Prototype takes third place in my favorite game list right behind Portal who has second place. --A honorable mention is the Sims 2 I like many video games and it's kind of hard for me hate a game, but here is a list of games that I would most likely never play again in my life: 1. Age of Empires 3: I was expecting this game to more like AOE 2 where it is actually based on real historical events, but it wasn't. It tried to have a plot but it failed in that aspect. 2. Grand Theft Auto: Let's just say that running people over, killing rival gang members, and having sex with random whores gets really old really fast. 3. Spyro Year of the Dragonfly: even though it got labeled as a Greatest Hits Game all it did was recycle the same plot, game play, and puzzles as its predecessors which made me wonder if I really should have expected anything else. Instead of collecting dragon eggs, you collect dragonflies, who are really annoying in their own right and sound like some one trying to talk through a kazoo (which is most likely true). As usual, you play Spyro the dragon who can't even fly! You're a dragon, your suppose to fly! After not even 3 hours of playing this game, I gave up on it because I played the whole thing before in the other Spyro games but this time I was collecting something different . I was severely disappointed in this series, and most likely never play this game ever again unless I am really really bored, or when the world ends, whichever comes first. --I can't really think of anymore off the top of my head. I would have to look at my collection to see what else was a waste of money. For some reason lately I've been hooked on vampire romance novels. I have no idea why, so if anyone knows any good ones please tell me them! (I've already read the Twilight series so maybe that's why...-goes deep into thought-) In my stories, I try respond to any reviews that are given to me. Since you were kind enough to leave me a review I will reply to you back. That reminds me, I have disabled the Anonymous review because I don't want haters spamming my stories because of the yaoi and/or yuri that I placed in them. Also it's my rule that all my chapters must be at least 10 pages long, so that the reader can enjoy a lengthy story. I research all of my information for things that I don't know (ie. how a gun works, what are the affects of different drugs, the psychological breakdown of the human psyche during the act of self preservation, etc.). I also send a copy to a friend who beta reads it and when I get it back I go do the necessary changes. This process takes awhile, so the stories will take some time to come out. I only do this for you my lovely readers! Have fun reading them! News I try to post up the next chapter of my stories at least once a month. I also update my Story Update section at least once a week or whenever something happens. So keep checking back here for updates on your favorite story or any oneshots that have caught your interest. Also this is the place where I write about anything that might be going on in my life that might delay any oneshot or chapter update that was suppose to happen. So keep checking back here for your updates! Another point, writing is not like homework. With homework you can do it whenever you want, not matter what your feeling. Writing on the other hand is something completely different because with writing (or anything creative for that matter from drawing to sculpting to musical composition) you have to feel it. You have to be in the mood for it. I just ask that you keep that in mind. Dec. 31 There's been quite a bit of stuff going on in my life. Much of it is making me seriously believe that I need to start seeing a therapist to get through it all, and start popping anti-depressants as if they were candy. sigh...
Fullmetal Alchemist -Deus Ex Machina: I need to rewrite the beginning of chapter 11, and that will take awhile. Summary: He pulled the hammer back, and placed the end of the barrel against his left temple, with a finger curled around the trigger. No one was going to save him. “Forgive me everyone.” Can Roy save Edward before it's too late? Angsty RoyxEd later on with lemon -Addiction: I regret to inform you that I am currently suspending this story. I'm focusing on my Twilight fanfic The Real Monster because I really really really want to write that one above this one. So once I get that one off of the ground, I can hopefully focus back on Addiction which is actually not going to be very long. It's going to be at most 13 chapters long because it is actually quite difficult to write. Summary: "Why do you do it? Why do you kill innocent people!?" yelled Hughes. There was a dark chuckle on the other end. "Why? Because I am addicted to killing. I hunger for it." A blood thirsty monster is roaming the streets of Central. Can he be stopped? -A Day to Remember: Completed. This is a FMA oneshot Ed/Winry fluff fic. Please read, and enjoy! I'm going to update this one with a better version, so that should be soon. Summary: Ed's eyes drifted across the scenery before him. There were the clouds that sailed across the sky, the grass swayed in the breeze, a few bugs darted here and there, and people were running around to get everything ready for his wedding. Oneshot -The Soldier Side: Completed. This a FMA oneshot songfic. Please read and enjoy! Summary: War is raging in the east. The people who went in didn't come back out the same, and the lucky ones die first. The line that separated both sides became blurred. There was no longer the good side or the bad side, but the soldier side. Oneshot songfic. -When the Snow Was White: I have finished this oneshot. I'm currently self editing the story right now. Summary: Snow n. a precipitation in the form of ice crystals formed directly from the freezing of the water vapor in the air. That's all it is to him. It means nothing, yet he still remembers when the snow used to be white. Oneshot. Twilight -The Real Monster: I have made all of the edits to the first chapter and now I'm trying to work on the second one. Please be patient. I'm going as fast as I can what with my school life and work schedule. Summary: It was symphony of gore and a painting of carnage. I knew that in some part of my mind I enjoyed tearing those people apart to watch the blood flow. I also knew that Edward saw it all, the proof that he wasn't the only monster. Twilight/Elfen Lied crossover. -A Day at the Cullen House: My first attempt at humor. This is going to be challenge for me since most of my fics are dark, angst, and/or hurt/comfort stories. It's going to be a oneshot done at Jasper's POV. I look forward to writing this fic. Summary: When Bella and the Cullen girls go away, a trickster Jasper comes out to play. JPOV and my first attempt at humor. I will post up more updates for the stories as they progress. So check back for updates! Soundtracks If my fanfics had soundtracks for them this is what I would put on them. Deus Ex Machina 1. Edward's theme song: Lilium 2. Roy's theme: "How to Save A Life" by The Fray 3. "Leave Out All the Rest" by Linkin Park 4. "Soul Creation" by Cinder 5. "Rain" by Yoko Kanno 6. "The Logical Song" by Supertramp The Real Monster 1. "Evolution" be Korn 2. "A Beautiful Lie" by 30 Seconds to Mars 3. "Memory" by Yoko Kanno 4. "Auf Kurs" by Oomph! Anyway... if you don't like yaoi than don't read any of my yaoi fics. NO FLAMES FROM YOU HOMOPHOBES! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! Flames will be used to make brownies and cupcakes for those who support and for myself XP Things that you'll never ever see in any of my fics are as follows: 1. Mpreg fics: Mainly because I don't like those. Sometimes when I read a fic that I really like and then I find out that it has a Mpreg I get really upset... I really don't like those, that ain't right. 2. You won't find is a female version of male characters and visa versa. It's just a little disturbing. 3. Lastly you'll never see a Harry Potter/Fullmetal Alchemist fic. Because it's a little annoying. The only thing that I can understand as to why they would crossover is the Philosopher/Sorcerer Stone. Other than that they really don't go together. In fact, I'll never write an HP crossover fic. There are too many of them out there already, and they don't need my help. If you like anything of the things that I have listed above than by all means keep reading and/or writing them. I do not discourage creativity or anyone from writing them. If you like writing that kind of stuff than keep writing them because I also do not wish to quash the imagination at all. I'm just saying that you won't find those kind of fanfics here. Things that you'll definitely see here: 1. yaoi/hetero 2. vampire stories 3. plenty of angst 4. cookies Now that is done please have fun and enjoy my fics. Please read and review if you don't then I might not know if the story is liked or not and I might not write anymore for the story. So please review so that I know if I should continue with one of my stories or not! Please be nice to me. Just one more thing I will try to update at least once a month. If I don't update I'm really sorry in advance. It might be due to my laziness... So I'm really sorry in advance for my laziness! Please forgive me! You cannot rush these things. Story writing takes time to create and do! Now that's done enjoy! | |||||||||||
