My Story:

Not quite sure what to say here. Not too much to say really. I'm a 20 year old Italian-American female with Italian as my primary language, so my grammar tends to have flaws here and there.

I'm a complete fanatic when it comes to all things anime and manga, especially Inuyasha as it was the first anime that I ever saw. Though my heritage is in no way connected to it, I harbor an odd love for the propriety of Japanese culture.

Literature, history, and writing are my three great passions in life, as will hopefully become obvious to anyone who reads any fics I may happen to give birth to. I write because...well, because I can. I always get all worked up over writing, even during those times when nothing else in the entire world is exciting to me.

I currently only have one fic out there (Behind the Silk Screen) and, short of a massive explosion of creative genius, I probably won't be writing any others until it's finished. I'm afraid, however, that updates will probably be irregular, subject as I am to my creative muse. And to less glamorous things like work and school. That's about it, I guess. My Stories:

Behind the Silk Screen : In Progress- The story of a nation in conflict, courtly intrigue, spiritual unrest, impending revolution, and two people so tangled together by the red strings of fate that not even the silk screen could divide them. A historical AU IYKag romance. Takes place in the classical Japanese Heian period, though really I only make use of the time period and not the events that actually happened within it (with a few exceptions).

Update 8/29/09: For those of you who got the update notice, guess what? It's for real this time. The elusive chapter 11, Of Trust and the Taira, has at last reared its skittish head after nearly a year. No, really. Seriously. What, you don't beleive me?...Okay, I wouldn't believe me either at this point. But it's true. Feel free to check it out for yourself. And if you feel the need to drop me a line about it or anything else, feel free. I'm always glad to hear from you.

Oh, also, this story seems to have won two new awards while I was off in loser-land. Thank you all. We've already established that I am more than unworthy.
