My mother has passed away, however, I am now back to updating most of my stories.

Hi, I've finally gotten around to writing this profile, I was busy writing about Harry Potter and Severus, who lead much more interesting lives than I do.

I work for Barnes and Noble (wonderful company, i still have a job in this recession), I'm also a former English teacher and a preschool teacher too with a very large family. I tend to draw from my own experiences when I write, and I enjoy writing mostly Harry Potter stories, though I did venture to do a Star Wars series as well, and some Greek and Norse mythology legends which have been retold and revised. I like stories where there is a strong sense of family, and mostly happy endings, so most of my work focuses on those themes. Animals feature heavily in my stories, I love them and love writing about them, there is usually an animal of some sort in all my stories. Horses, dogs, cats, you name it, I love them all. Oh, and cooking, I love to cook and bake, so you'll see a lot of that in my stories as well.

My stories: I have recently ventured in the Once Upon A Time wolrd and have written stories for that as well, so if you like fairy tales and characters with a twist and lots of magic, adventure, and redemption, please read them! Like my HP stories, I follow the show loosely and often add my own characters or spin on events. I enjoy writing Rumbelle stories the most as of now, and also like Emma/Baelfire. But if you notice things are off about some of the characters, please know I have ONLY seen Season 1, not 2, and anyhow this is my own interpretation, so be kind.

I write lots of Harry/Severus guardian stories and also Severus/Lily stories which are, of course, AU non-canon. I don't write slash, tried and it comes out terrible. If you are looking for canon portrayals of characters, or expect the characters to behave exactly as Ms. Rowling wrote them, please go elsewhere. Canon's been written, been done to death, and is over with. I usually don't do canon pairings for the same reason, because then everyone knows how it ends. Boring! I also don't write Severus Snape was a Death Eater stories too often because THAT'S been done to death. I like to give Severus a second chance at life, so in a lot of my stories he's not a professor or a spy--he's a Healer, apothecary, Unspeakable, potions researcher, even a university professor. Or ones where Dumbledore ORDERS him to look in on Harry either. Or ones where he detests Harry, because I don't believe Snape really did hate Harry, otherwise why bother saving him? I also don't write stories where Snape takes forever to realize Harry's not James, because the man's intelligent, if he's shown enough evidence of the Dursley abuse, he can come to a logical quick conclusion. He was never given that chance in the books, therefore he never realized Harry was not a spoiled brat. Harry came off to him as cheeky and a troublemaker--therefore by Snape's lights he was just like his father. So . . . if you are looking for my stories to be canon, with typical Professor Snape-hates-Potter and all that other junk . . . DON'T read my stories! GO AWAY and find a different story more to your liking! IGNORE at your own risk, and DON'T review if all you have to say is this didn't happen and so-and-so did this in the books blah blah blah . . .I KNOW, I DON'T CARE, I write my stories how I want to and if you DON'T LIKE AU, WHY ARE YOU READING THEM? SAYING THAT YOU DON'T CARE FOR THE FIRST CHAPTER of a story and then continuing to read and make comments on EVERYTHING YOU HATE about it is a waste of time, mine and yours. WHY DO IT? It's stupid! FINDING another story is painless. Go do it. I WILL NOT change my story, no matter how much you whine and complain. So do yourself a favor . . . READ SOMETHING ELSE!!

On the other hand, I do appreciate people pointing out errors in spelling/punctuation, or continuity so I can fix them. Or asking why a character is behaving this way or expressing dislike or approval of how a character is acting. You may not like everything I write, and that's okay, but be considerate when reviewing. If all you're going to put down in the little white box is I hate Snape, ect . . .save your breath.

Biggest Pet Peeves in HP: Spelling characters, place names, and spells incorrectly. Yes, everyone makes mistakes, and it's okay if you have typos here and there, but please try and make sure you are spelling a character's name correctly when you write it. If you're unsure how to spell an odd name or word, PLEASE use an online dictionary or Harry Potter Lexicon. There's nothing so jarring as reading Serverus instead of Severus. It throws everything off. This does not include translated works, because sometimes translations are hard to get exact spellings on and other languages don't always lend themselves to English translations.

Anyone who automatically assumes that the fiction I write relates in some way to my personal life or beliefs--If an author writes a fictional story it is just that--fiction. It is ridiculous to assume that what an author writes in a story is what he/she believes. If an author writes murder mysteries and thrillers that doesn't mean they are serial killers, or that they enjoy torturing children or animals. That's crazy. I write these stories for fun, and that is how they should be read. Unless otherwise stated, don't assume that what you read relates to the author in any way, shape, or form.

pairing teachers/students. This one REALLY bugs me. I was a teacher of adolescents (7th grade) as well as preschool, and one of the BIGGEST forbidden things you could do was to make advances towards a student or permit a student to make sexual advances towards you. Where I'm from (USA) it is highly illegal!! Not to mention just personally disgusting! Pairing a teacher with a student, even a former student, just turns my stomach. A teacher is there to TEACH a student, NOT fulfill sexual favors and making a student and teacher fall madly in love with each other, especially considering that at Hogwarts, the teacher has been teaching said student since they were ELEVEN, underage, to me is just wrong. Yes, age of consent in the WW is 17, but still . . .think about it, the youngest teacher there, Severus Snape is 20 years OLDER than anyone in Harry's year, old enough to be their father. Yes, Severus is way hot, I'm not denying his sex appeal, or that little teenage girls fantasize about him, but IMHP, that's how it should remain--a fantasy. I do not see Snape as lusting after a student, even a former student, unless there's been some magic love potion or spell involved or Imperius Curse. Yes, I am aware that people tend to pair him with Hermione or Harry, for whatever reason, and I do not like those pairings and so will never read them. It just makes me shudder. Even the ones where adult Hermione divorces Ron and then takes up with Severus. He knew her when she was 11! And watched her grow up. To me, it would be as if I suddenly decided to date my nephew's friend, and I am fifteen years older than they are, and they're 16, and I've known them all their life, since they were small. There are a lot of pedophiles and sexual predators out there, and we've had more than our share of them in the education profession (it's really awful), and a few years back a teacher was discovered living with her 15 or 16 year-old-student in Mexico and she was pregnant by him and she was 30. She was arrested on statutory rape charges and I feel she was a disgrace to the honorable profession of teaching. As much of a disgrace as those college professors who offer sexual favors in return for high marks. UGH! To me, using a teacher/student pairing is almost encouraging an impressionable teeanger to see a teacher as an acceptable object of affection--and that is wrong. A teacher can lose his or her JOB if a student makes advances at him or her, so PLEASE do not encourage that. Yes, this is fiction and you have the right to write whatever you please, but I urge you, THINK about who you affect when you write something like this. In the same token, I do not read bondage stories of any kind where Harry is made a slave to ANYONE. Slavery is wrong, we Americans (and British), fought to REMOVE slavery from our society, why would you want to bring it back?? And between Harry and Severus? I could see the evil side using it as a coercion tool, but not as a device to make Harry or Severus bond with each other. There are plenty of other ways to make them bond and do not use a forced spell to make it happen. To me, it's as bad as a love potion or Imperius Curse because it takes away choice and will, they are forced together. But if you like that sort of thing . . .to each his own. I've been noticing a trend on here of slavery/abuse stories and teacher/student pairings and I just felt I had to comment on it. Oh, and if you don't agree with my opinion . . .fine, but do not send me nasty PM's about it. We're all entitled to our own opinions here and should be respected for them.

Favorite HP characters:

Severus Snape (no question he is my absolute fav, loved him ever since SS and never thought he was evil . . .EVER! Was horribly upset at the end of DH and resolved to invent whole new futures for him where he got the family and happy ending I felt he deserved.

Harry Potter-Harry grew on me once i started writing about him and I love him best when he is in a father/son relationship with Severus

Remus Lupin-gotta love Remus, even though he was a snot to Sev sometimes

Hermione Granger-she's smart and skilled, I like to give her a more prominent role in my fics and think she'd do well with Harry

Draco Malfoy-the bad boy gone good, he's spoiled true, but he can be redeemed

Ron Weasley-Ron's the ultimate best friend or a royal idiot depending on how you look at him. But he's fun to write!

Sirius Black-Sirius is an amalgam of the serious Auror and a little boy who never quite grew up. I like to portray him as a good friend to Remus and Severus, as you'll see if you read my stories.

Minerva McGonagall: She's one of my favorite teachers, strong capable, and even Severus respects her

Poppy Pomfrey-I just love healers! And she plays a maternal role in some of my stories.

Tobias Snape-in most of my fics, he's a nasty guy, but I did a different take on him in one series and now I like this version.

Lily Evans-Sev's love that was lost . . .or found, in some of my fics, a bright talented witch who can hold her own with any man.

Emma Swan--she's good too like her with Baelfire

Indian Heart--Young Riders fanfic! For those of you who aren't familiar with TYR, don't worry! It's a show about Pony Express Riders in 1860's Nebraska. All characters are explained as the story goes on. This is a Drama/Romance between half-Indian rider Buck Cross and young Jenny Tompkins, who was raised by Lakota Indians and consideres herself one of them, despite being a white girl. She is returned to her father, storekeeper Bill Tompkins, and now must learn to adjust to white society. Can she do so without losing her Lakota beliefs and customs? Will she ever be free to follow her own heart, which is attracted to Buck, a man whom her father regards as inferior because he's part Kiowa? Can a girl with an Indian heart and a half-breed rider ever find true love, or must they give up their true selves? I am doing a lot of research on Lakota for this, so I can't post as quickly as I would like. Please be patient! Fourth chapter now posted!

This series is highly AU, with several OC as well as canon ones, and features a small Harry Potter who grows up during the course of the series, plus a loving Severus Snape who is a Healer and a Potions Master, and Harry's adopted dad, and no Voldemort, but other problems and trials for the Snape family. This is a family oriented series, focusing on relationships and while there is action, it's not the main focus of the story. It contains one of the few tear-jerkers I have ever written though! It's both funny and sad and contains mild spanking. (I am not a fan of heavy CP stories, so you do not have graphic CP scenes in my work, unless I am illustrating abuse of a child, like in Never Again.)

more will follow in this series, it's my own original work featuring Potions Master spy Sev and his daughter Arista, who is an empathic Healer. Strong emphasis on OC with lots of action adventure, some romance and several visits to America. I have meshed most of the events of SS-OOP into this series, but the focus is on Sev and Arista, though Harry does come into the series later on. Note: no Arista/Harry pairing here!! I just didn't feel it would work and it's been overdone on occasion, so Arista has her own friends, boyfriend, and her own enemies too. I created a lot of my own settings and animals, spells, and creatures, most notably the bronze dragons for this series--it is very different, but I feel it is just as good as my others, if given the chance.

Irresistible Chemistry (novel) Romance and drama between Severus and Lily and a surprise ship between Petunia and James as well! Set partially during the last years of school for the Marauders and Lily and Snape and also goes into the early years of Snape as a spy and how it affects his relationship with Lily. COMPLETE!
