Author has written 40 stories for Harry Potter, Star Wars, Dragonriders of Pern series, Mythology, and Greek Mythology.

Hi, I've finally gotten around to writing this profile, I was busy writing about Harry Potter and Severus, who lead much more interesting lives than I do.

I work for Barnes and Noble (wonderful company, i still have a job in this recession), I'm also a former English teacher and a preschool teacher too with a very large family. I tend to draw from my own experiences when I write, and I enjoy writing mostly Harry Potter stories, though I did venture to do a Star Wars series as well. I like stories where there is a strong sense of family, and mostly happy endings, so most of my work focuses on those themes. Animals feature heavily in my stories, I love them and love writing about them, there is usually an animal of some sort in all my stories. Horses, dogs, cats, you name it, I love them all. Oh, and cooking, I'm Italian, I cook and bake ALL the time, in one of my stories I even have recipes, you should try them, they're really good, been in my family since my dad and grandmother came to Ellis Island off the boat. Favorite HP characters:

Severus Snape (no question he is my absolute fav, loved him ever since SS and never thought he was evil . . .EVER! Was horribly upset at the end of DH and resolved to invent whole new futures for him where he got the family and happy ending I felt he deserved.

Harry Potter-Harry grew on me once i started writing about him and I love him best when he is in a father/son relationship with Severus

Remus Lupin-gotta love Remus, even though he was a snot to Sev sometimes

Hermione Granger-she's smart and skilled, I like to give her a more prominent role in my fics and think she'd do well with Harry

Draco Malfoy-the bad boy gone good, he's spoiled true, but he can be redeemed

Ron Weasley-Ron's the ultimate best friend or a royal idiot depending on how you look at him. But he's fun to write!

Sirius Black-Sirius is an amalgam of the serious Auror and a little boy who never quite grew up. I like to portray him as a good friend to Remus and Severus, as you'll see if you read my stories.

Minerva McGonagall: She's one of my favorite teachers, strong capable, and even Severus respects her

Poppy Pomfrey-I just love healers! And she plays a maternal role in some of my stories.

Tobias Snape-in most of my fics, he's a nasty guy, but I did a different take on him in one series and now I like this version.

Lily Evans-Sev's love that was lost . . .or found, in some of my fics, a bright talented witch who can hold her own with any man.

Star Wars favs:

Qui-Gon Jinn--I loved him in PM (Liam Neeson is so hot! And so is Alan Rickman too!) Enigmatic, yet with hidden depths

Darth Vader-good any way you write him,one of the most interesting characters ever

Han Solo-who doesn't love a rebel?

Leia and Luke Skywalker-sometimes they can be a bit predictable, but they've got potential and can be fun to write

I have too many books to list here, I've read so many I should own half of B&N, but my favorite genres are Fantasy, Mystery, Historical Fiction, and some Teen Fiction too!

For those of you interested in reading my HP series, I've posted a rough guideline to each of my series here, when I add a new story, I'll update the list:

This series is highly AU, with several OC as well as canon ones, and features a small Harry Potter who grows up during the course of the series, plus a loving Severus Snape who is a Healer and a Potions Master, and Harry's adopted dad, and no Voldemort, but other problems and trials for the Snape family. This is a family oriented series, focusing on relationships and while there is action, it's not the main focus of the story. It contains one of the few tear-jerkers I have ever written though! It's both funny and sad and contains mild spanking. (I am not a fan of heavy CP stories, so you do not have graphic CP scenes in my work, unless I am illustrating abuse of a child, like in Never Again.)

Sev is the guardian and eventual adopted father of Harry, reworks Sorcerer's Stone and the summer following, very different, one of the best HP fics I've written. The sequel will focus on Chamber of Secrets with various plot twists and some OC's and also the summer afterwards.

I have meshed most of the events of SS-OOP into this series, but the focus is on Sev and Arista, though Harry does come into the series later on. Note: no Arista/Harry pairing here!! I just didn't feel it would work and it's been overdone on occasion, so Arista has her own friends, boyfriend, and her own enemies too. I created a lot of my own settings and animals, spells, and creatures, most notably the bronze dragons for this series--it is very different, but I feel it is just as good as my others, if given the chance.

This series takes place in America, mostly New York, a little of New Jersey, and also Salem Massachusetts. Will also feature Arista, Drake, Trish, Flick, and Fireflash too!

Irresistible Chemistry (novel) Romance and drama between Severus and Lily and a surprise ship between Petunia and James as well! Set partially during the last years of school for the Marauders and Lily and Snape and also goes into the early years of Snape as a spy and how it affects his relationship with Lily. 27th CHAPTER UP!! PLEASE REVIEW!

Broken Wings--Harry is a Hawk Animagus in this one, with a badly damaged memory, broken wings, and being taken care of by our favorite snarky Potions Master, who has no idea that the hawk he grows fond of is actually Harry. Along the way Harry discovers valuable truths about his teacher and others in the castle that he never knew. Snape mentor/guardian to Harry fic! COMPLETE!! Being translated into Hungarian!

This is my first venture into SW, and features Qui-Gon and young Ob-Wan, and Qui-Gon's daughter, Kyra, who has the special ability to wield both sides of the Force and is a Windwalker. While in line at the bank one afternoon,
My toddler decided to release
Some pent-up energy and ran amok.
I was finally able to grab hold of
Her after receiving looks of disgust
And annoyance from other patrons..
I told her that if she did not start behaving
'right now' she would be punished.
To my horror, she looked me in the eye and said in a voice just as threatening,
'If you don't let me go right now,
I will tell Grandma that I saw you
Kissing Daddy's pee-pee last night!'
The silence was deafening after this enlightening exchange.
Even the tellers stopped what they were doing.
I mustered up the last of my dignity and
Walked out of the bank with my daughter in tow.
The last thing I heard when the door closed behind me, were screams of laughter.

FIFTH TESTIMONY:

Have you ever asked your child a question too many times?
My three-year-old son had a lot of problems with potty training and I was on him constantly.
One day we stopped at Taco Bell for a quick lunch, in between errands
It was very busy, with a full dining room.
While enjoying my taco,
I smelled something funny,
So of course I checked
My seven-month-old daughter, she was clean.
The realized that Danny
Had not asked to go potty in a while.
I asked him if he needed to go,
And he said 'No'
I kept thinking
'Oh Lord, that child has had an accident, and I don't have any clothes with me.'
Then I said,
' Danny, are you SURE you didn't have an accident?'
'No,' he replied.
I just KNEW that he must have had an accident, because the smell was getting worse..
Soooooo, I asked one more time, ' Danny did you have an accident ? This time he jumped up, yanked down his pants,
Bent over, spread his cheeks
And yelled
'SEE MOM, IT'S JUST FARTS!!'
While 30 people nearly choked to death on their tacos laughing,
He calmly pulled up his pants and sat down.
An old couple made me feel better,
Thanking me for the best laugh they'd ever had!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST TESTIMONY:

This had most of the state of Michigan laughing for 2 days
And a very embarrassed female news anchor who will,
In the future, likely think before she speaks.
What happens when you predict snow but don't get any!
We had a female news anchor that,
The day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't,
Turned to the weatherman and asked:
'So Bob, where's that 8 inches you promised me last night?'
Not only did HE have to leave the set,
But half the crew did too they were laughing so hard!

Broccoli Salad Recipe

(Mr. Granger makes this for Draco & Mione in my short story Trick or Treat Slytherin Style)

Fresh broccoli florets (about 2 1lb bags)

shredded carrots

shredded cheddar cheese (about 1 bag, 2 if you like extra)

1lb of bacon

2 cups of mayo

3/4-1 and 1/4 c of sugar (to taste, sweet but not too sweet)

2 cups of Apple Cider vinegar

1 to 2 handfuls of sunflower seeds, salted and shelled (optional)

1. Microwave the bacon till bacon is crispy (about 5 min per 1/2 lb), crumble into pieces, set aside.

2. Toss broccoli, carrots, cheese, bacon, and sunflower seeds together in a lg bowl

3. In a separate smaller bowl, mix mayo, vinegar, and sugar together. Taste. Should be sweet but not too sweet, tangy. Add to salad and chill for 1/2 an hour. Can be eaten immediately. Tastes even better the next day!
