Author has written 12 stories for Twilight. Hey there! Hopefully you can tell from my screenname that i am a HUGE Twilight series fan. I'll be doing almost all of my fanfics on this series. if you don't like that, deal with it! Sorry if theres a bunch of typos. im on a tme limit and i have an ice cream bar in myn hamd, so its getting REALY hard to type. Anyways, i greatly appreciate critics, but not mean people. Flamers are accepted if you have a good reason to flame me! Okay, so yea. any suggestions on my fics are greatly appreciated, and definitly needed, sice these will be my first fics. I am COMPLETELY anti-Jake/Bella. GO EDWARD! In my opinion, if Jake realy was her friend, he would have been happy for her and not forced her iinto doing things she didn't want to do--like making her kiss him so he would 'not go kill himself in battle'. I am, obviously, Alice's fan, and hope to audition to play her in the Twilight movie. Remeber, all critics are welcomed! Thanks! Graceful Little Alice 10/18 Hey guys! Oh. My. GOSH! That was AWFUL! I mean, can they have butchered it up ANY more?! Gracious! They got everything right, and then decided, 'oh, lets cut off half the scene and mix them all in random order and then, to make them all hate it, lets just cut the book short!'!! What WRONG with these people?! Okay, im good. If you read the book, you know why i hated the movie so much. If not, you should all hate it. The only part they got right was the bear fight, and even THAT was in the wrong order... 1/12/08 Okay, first off, happy new year! W00T! -annoying party favor noise- Anyway, just thought i'd update and kinda key into a few of my upcoming stories. Plus, i wanted to add my opinion on the term 'OMC' (Oh My Carlisle). STUPID! AWFUL! ANNOYING! POETICALLY INCORRECT!GAG-WORTHY! I HATE IT! Fisrt off, Carlisle is in no way, shape or form as 'god-like' as Edward according to the books. Secondly, some would argue that since he 'created' a large number of vampires, he's like God. Well he's not! He didn't 'create' them! He just upgraded them! They were humans before, right? Meaning that God created them! NOT Carlisle! and if you're going to use the term'OMC', DON'T make CARLISE SAY IT! For goodness sake, people, he's not that self-obssesed! He's very selfless in fact! Or better yet, don't make ANY of the Cullens or vampires/werewolves/humans say it! IT DOESNT WORK! It's beyond poetically incorrect! Gracious! Phew! Just had to get that out of my system! okay, on with the update! Story ideas: 1. A series of lyrical one-shots, all of which will be either songs re-written for the books or actual stories using the music 2. One where Bella become part of the volturi and ends up having to spy on the Cullens. Edward never came back. Okay, I'm done for now. Keep reading! Graceful Little Alice 10-10-08 Hey! I'm sorry to say that, well, Breaking Dawn has rather killed my need to write fanfiction. My addiction to this series has sort of...decipated. So, more than likely, i won't be writing anymore. Unless i can find another book with as many opportunities for change as Twilight held. And now, because this is something i REALLY need to do, i'm going to tell you my opinion on Breaking Dawn...simply because i can. lol. Okay, The first...several chapters were fantastic. Great wedding, wonderful mini-drama with Jake's return, and the fantastic honeymoon Edward and Bella shared. Isle Esme was a great addition. And that's where the greatness ends. Flat out. Bella's pregnancy borderlined hypocracy on Meyer's part. Has she NOT been telling us every step of the way that her vampires CAN NOT, under any circumstance, get pregnant? And isn't it fairly illogical that Edward did get Bella pregnant? Doesn't that require an anatomical reaction that he, quite frankly, can't do? And i know some of you are scoffing at me thinking, "Wow, what a loser, she actually thinks this is scientifically correct!". But go back and look into everything Meyer's written. It's ALWAYS been written so that it fits in properly and logically in average society. And then, she goes and throws us this sci-fi twist! I think that she added in an ingridient to an already perfect reciepe. She had the perfect plotline ready for this book: The only thing that kept me reading the book was Jake's POV. His chapter titles and blonde jokes were the light shining through and making me continue. And then, he imprinted. On Bella's BABY no less. I mean, seriously, what is up with that? That's just revolting. It felt like he was internally settling for the daughter of the woman he could never have. Which brings me to my next point: Bella should NEVER have gotten both of her boys. From the end of New Moon, it's always been Team Edward-v-Team Jacob. She shouldn't have gotten a perfect happy ending. Next, the almost war. She shouldn't have brought in so many extra fighters if there was going to be no war! I mean, honestly, how many of you were mad that there was no major massacre? There was no death, which made the book that much more unrealistic (for her version of a vampire story, at least). I think that the characters seemed...off. Almost to the point of being OOC, which, i know is impossible, they're HER characters afterall! But...it seemed like...i don't know...as a writer, i think the only way i can describe it is, they wanted to go one way, and she pushed them in the opposite direction. When i write, i sometimes just sort of let my characters...wander. Into random scenes of other books, into my everyday life, and then in, back into their own world in scenes they weren't supposed to be in. And, finally, where they think they belong. It's like, Meyer's characters knew where to go, and how to get there, but she wouldn't let them, and they just...i don't know. I sound like a loon...anyway, they just seemed off. Especially the Volturi. the Volturi she made them out to be...the ruthless, heartless royalty of the vampiric world...they weren't there. They gave up SO easily. And they didn't even try to take one of the Cullens as compensation for their los, the way it seemed they would! I don't know, they just seemed...weak? Yeah, that's it. Weak. That's pretty much it...at least, my calm version. lol. | |||||||
