Well hello thar =)

Well, a bit about myself: I'm Leah, as some of you lot may know, and I'm 16. I'm from Northern Ireland, but I'm not British. Just Northern Irish. :hehe:

Reading and writing are my joys in life, and I also love music. I write fics for the sheer joy of it, though sometimes I force myself to keep going whenever I don't particularly feel in the mood to do so. I don't expect that I'll ever change, but I don't mind. I do, however need to tell my over-active imagination to cool it for a bit though - too many ideas with too little time free on my hands!
I have the unfortunate habit of getting too many new ideas into my head all at once; have to scribble them down and then wait for ages 'til I type them up. I sadly tend to take a while to update. But I'm a perfectionist - everything has to be perfect before I post, hence the long wait between updates. But I can promise you this - the longer the update, the better the chapter will be.
My ideas take over my life. This is true - ask anyone. Once they pop into my head, they do tend to remain there hammering away insistently until they get their heart's desire - a fic of their very own.
I am a daydreamer - one who blissfully gets lost in her own imagination. I live in my dreams - so it's always a disappointment whenever I get startled out of them.

I like: Correct spelling, grammar and punctuation, receiving reviews (constructive criticism is always a huge bonus), people writing characters that actually remain character, fics that make me go all "OhMyGoodness" because of their sheer amazingness, listening to cool foreign accents (seriously, listen to David Ander's english accent that he uses for Adam Monroe, and you will melt. Trust me), living in Northern Ireland, watching movies that came out years ago (same with T.V programmes), hanging out with my brilliant friends, listening to music and taking inspiration from it, people who dare be different, people who enjoy life, good old fruit and veg (seriously - I do), daydreaming and also simply lying in my garden on a sunny day and enjoy watching the blue sky and fluffy clouds go by...

I dislike: Mary Sues (don't get me started), fics that have no plot and make therefore make no sense (the exception being Crack! fics, as that is their main purpose, of course), school with its chore of exams (G.C.S.Es this year - help), losing my USB stick that contains all my fics (this sadly happens alot), my computer when it acts up (ditto- it happens way too much), pointless flamers (come on guys - if you don't like the fic, why did you bother reading it? Check out the summary first and see if it's your cup o' tea!), those who simply refuse to use the correct spelling, grammer and punctuation (obviously there are those who prove to be exceptions and can't help it -others are too lazy to be bothered), my favourite shows being cancelled (Stargate: Atlantis for one, Firefly for another) and rave music being played loudly...

Random Fact about me: I hate odd numbers. That's my trait of OCD. You know that everyone is supposed to have a bit of OCD in them? Well, I hate odd numbers and everything has to be even for me. Yes, seriously. Whenever I'm in class at school, I have to have two pens out on the desks at any one time, not just one or three. Have to be even numbers...

I love 'em all, they are the bestest best friends anyone could ask for, so hey guys!

New Fics uploaded:

"Last Days" - After seeing the latest eppy of Storm Hawks I was angry and I was also disappointed with how the show dealt with Dark Ace's death. I finished watching it and went to chat to my friend Jess. I was all,"That was so bad! I have to write a fic that starts with a fight and DA getting captured and ends with him being executed..."and thus Last Days was born. It will be at least 14 chapters long, so prepare for a long ride! Summary: "If you knew the day that you would die, you would count down the days in-between, wouldn't you? Those days would pass by; like sand in an hour glass...Cyclonia has fallen; the war is over. But one last action must be done before Atmos can feel safe..."

Attention!

"Guilty Until Proven Innocent" - This is actually based on a dream I had and now I have become obessed with finishing this. Summary: "A new serial killer stalks Miami. Ryan Wolfe back at the lab amid complaints. Two things which aren't connected... Are they? As more bodies are found; Feds arrive and Ryan finds himself in deep trouble. Is Ryan the serial killer? Or is he being set up?"

And at what cost? (It is set in the third season of Heroes, but Adam didn't die, and Peter didn't lose his powers...)

2nd Place: Ryan Wolfe; (CSI:Miami) (He's just too cute to be left out! And he got tortured, so he deserves a spot) along with Cas/Castiel (Supernatural - seriously, I want an angel if they are all like him.)

"It'll be like Paris! ... Only not in France!" - Me, after Maeve and I were talking about the Choir trip to Edinburgh. (We'd gone on a Paris trip the year before.)

Robyn (very loudly in Tech one morning) : "MYHEAD IS SORE!"
(Everyone looks up and stares at her)

Jess: "...And then you will shout, 'AWAY, DEMON! AWAY!' " (she stands and acts it out)
(Mr Moore is walking past, and pauses)
