Q: Who are you anyway?

A: I am a happily married, sleep-deprived, very active, woman from Fort Worth/Waco, Texas (for now, anyway) who is working toward her master's degree in Spanish at Baylor University. My wonderful, talented cousin, aka MarcyJ, let me know about this site right after I devoured the series (finally, after Marcy had insisted for who knows how long that I read it), and I've been addicted ever since.

Q: Okay, can we have some details?

A: Any little details that might be of interest? Hm...Let's see. I'm happily married to a wonderful man, come from a big extended family (no brothers and sisters, but lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins that I love to pieces) that I absolutely love, am a Hanson fan (another thing I can attribute to Marcy), and a little bit of a contradiction. I'm a new Catholic (Yes, I converted to Catholicism at a the world's largest Baptist universit. Go figure), live in Texas but love cold weather, and love children. I was married in April to my own Edward. Q: Any favorites?

A: My favorite of the published novels is Eclipse, perhaps because I love the interactions between the characters. They're all so much more comfortable and used to one another by this point, and the relationships really deepen. My least favorite book is New Moon, though I identify with it best. That thing is physically painful to read. My favorite characters iin the series are Alice, Bella, Edward, Emmett, Charlie, and Quil. I think Jacob needs to grow up. There's something about the old-fashioned gentleman in Edward that makes me swoon (and yes, Chris is a lot like him...except for the afraid-to-tell-me/a-little-too-overprotective part).

Q: And why haven't you written much?

A: So, yeah, back to that Spanish major thing. I'm closing on a house this month, starting classes a day later (Eek!), moving across the state (again...), and setting up the new home. So, um, yeah...kinda with the absolutely no free time there, or at least no free time where my brain is adequately functioning in English. No worries, I'm writing as much as I can, and will be writing more when things slow down a bare bit (as in, once we're settled into the house in a few weeks). However, I've been reading/reviewing as much as I can. You guys are amazing.
