November 7th, 2009 : Progress Report

It's been months. I'm not going to throw excuses at you, because that would be unfair and that would be a bit hypocritical for me
and because I truly have none - nothing like car accidents or deaths or anything like that. Only change -
I'm a high school freshman now, and the only one from any of my previous schools attending the high school I go to. I'm not going to lie. It's been difficult.
But it's nothing I couldn't have handled, that I have handled, and with midterms coming up - well, that's just another excuse, isn't it?

I'm truly sorry. I am not giving up on Apart, Yet in the Heart. However, I am going through my old stories and deleting them (but I will keep a file
on my computer just in case I need it.) That includes 8 Years Apart. I know that AYITH won't make much sense, but I will post a summary on the first chapter
of 8YA and explain what happened. Because I went through it recently, and all I was thinking was, 'What the hell? I really wrote this cliched
story?' and was so, so disappointed in myself and I do not want people to judge my current writing ability based on that, as selfish as it may seem.
I may rewrite it.
I may not.

As it stands, I don't know when AYITH will be updated. Perhaps by the end of the year, or in mid-January. I just don't know. And I'm so, so sorry for that.

I want to start over.

But I am too lazy to create a new account and all that jazz. I will be changing my penname after I update the final chapter of AYITH, which I hope will be out
before New Year's.

To anyone who's stuck with me from the beginning, or until now -

You have no idea how much it means to me. I still remember those few reviewers on my very first fanfic, Recovering Lost Memories, and I remember
those who've given me so much support with my stories and watched me improve and grow as a writer.
Thank you. So, so much.

I'm sorry if I haven't replied to people's PMs. I'm the kind of person who has 300 somewhat emails and checks them every other week or so :p I've cleaned up my inbox a little, so I should be able to reply to your PMs in a few days, and at the most, two weeks.

. it's been proven that i absolutely cannot write humour. if i do, prepare for corny puns and totally not funny circumstances.
. i love angst, and it shows. nearly everything i write has to have angst in it somehow.
. i am probably cliched. geeky glasses girl who's abnormally quiet and sulks in a corner? yeah, that's me. sort of. hopefully it does not show in my writing.
. i have one major pairing i love for each fandom. and i have one pairing i absolutely love overall. (sasusaku, hell yeah.)
. i do not like yaoi/yuri. i have nothing against homosexuals themselves, believe me, i have a friend who's gay, but i don't support it. i'm sorry.
