Author has written 7 stories for Zorro, Sweeney Todd, Indiana Jones, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, Peter Pan, National Treasure, and Tron. I am not the sort of person who wishes to remind people that I don't own the subject matter that I choose to write about. This is fanfiction. I believe that you are all intelligent enough to know that I don't own it, so I won't beg you not to sue me whenever I put a new chapter up. I shall put my disclaimer here, and be done with it: Readers, You are smart. You know that I am not the ghost of J. R. R. Tolkien, or any other author or screenwriter for that matter-- living or dead. I suggest that as you are on this site, you should do the sensible thing and not care. Cheers! Also, I feel that I must warn all readers that my updates are rather infrequent. As much as I love to write fanfiction, real life makes it difficult to be consistant--especially when real life gives me deadlines for original fiction. However, it is important to me that I finish everything I start, so be assured that all of these stories will one day be complete. Regarding OCs: If they are written well, I rather enjoy them. I mostly write them myself. However, I must stress that they must be created with effort. Names must never be 'special,' and must always fit the fandom. 'Tragic pasts' must be kept to a strict minimum. If inserted into the specific plot of a book or film, make them add something serious of their own--do not just copy the work with supposedly 'witty' commentary from your character. It isn't interesting. Eating disorders are not attractive in any way. Neither is hair past the waist in a real-life setting. The color of one's eyes must never be a plot point. Instead, use flaws. 'Too desirable' does not count as a flaw. I am a woman of many names, (among them Skye Lovelace, Zell, Sarah Jane, Robin, Bones, Flower, Lady Rainicorn, and 'freak,') but not so many talents. But here you may simply call me Idhrenniel. I prefer to follow the fashion sense of one of my paticular heroes, Helena Bonham Carter. I'll admit that this mostly fails, and I end up just wearing ridiculous things that have nothing to do with her whatsoever. I have really plain brown hair--although it's been various shades of red as of late since I've acquired hair dye money-- that is almost always tangled in knots and virtually impossible to style, and my eyes are quite deep-set so I never look like I get enough sleep. I began writing when I was about four or five, when I thought I was the best writer ever. It's been many years since then, and I now study creative writing at school, and I think that I still have much to learn. I enjoy writing, reading, cupcakes, tea, the smell of bookstores, polka dotted socks, science fiction films, and performing on stage. I play the flute and piccolo, and I draw, but I cannot claim that I do either very well. My favorite musicians have to be The Beatles, (and their solo work,) David Bowie, The Clash, Jefferson Airplane, The B-52's, Blondie, Heart, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Elvis Presley, The Who, Amanda Palmer, The Ramones, Abney Park, Jimi Hendrix, Lily Allen, Unextraordinary Gentlemen, The Doors, Iggy Pop, Sue and the Unicorn, Queen, Tiktak, The Police, Herman's Hermits, Daft Punk, Nirvana, The Sex Pistols, Emilie Autumn, Imogen Heap, Molotov Jukebox, La Roux, Alice Cooper, Ingrid Michaelson, The Cure, Helen Love, Regina Spektor, and Voltaire. When writing, I find that movie soundtracks are quite lovely to set one in the proper mood, and they take up the other half of my iPod. My favorite actors and actresses: David Tennant, Benedict Cumberbatch, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Harrison Ford, Jeremy Brett, Gary Oldman, Evanna Lynch, Heath Ledger (RIP), Matt Smith, Cillian Murphy, Leonard Nimoy, Mark Hamill, Christian Bale, Liam Neeson, Tom Baker... The Geek List goes on for a while, I'm afraid. Tim Burton is my favorite movie director. However, I am not under the impression that it makes me edgy or different. Favorite movies: Star Wars, The Princess Bride, Pirates of the Caribbean, National Treasure, The Lord of the Rings, (though not as much as the books,) A Hard Days Night, Help, Yellow Submarine, Back to the Future, The Mummy, Tron, Star Trek, Alice in Wonderland, Van Helsing, Sleepy Hollow, To Kill a Mockingbird, Twelve Angry Men, Beetlejuice, Dracula, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Secret Window, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Edward Scissorhands, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Serenity, Indiana Jones, The Mask of Zorro, Sorcerer's Apprentice, X-Men, Labyrinth, Chocolat, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (both versions,) Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and a great deal more. Favorite TV shows: Star Trek, Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Sherlock, Charmed, Firefly, Torchwood, Mythbusters, the BBC Robin Hood, X-Men Evolution, and Sherlock Holmes. I also have this absurd addiction to the Carol Burnett Show, and don't get me started on how much I freak out over Jane Austen week on PBS... Favorite books: The Lord of the Rings, Neverwhere, Peter Pan, Wicked Lovely, Dante's Inferno, The Graveyard Book, Wildwood Dancing, The Princess Bride, Alice in Wonderland, Eragon, The Gemma Doyle Trilogy, The Golden Compass, Harry Potter, the Stravaganza series, Sherlock Holmes, plays by William Shakespeare, Dracula, Edgar Allen Poe's stories and poetry, Impossible, Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy, The Phantom of the Opera, Lulu Dark Can See Through Walls, Jane Eyre, Good Omens, Anthem, The White Darkness, Narnia, The Catcher in the Rye, Spellfall, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, A Dance of Sisters, Beneath the Ghost Moon, Queen Geeks, Robin Hood, Inkheart, The Thief Lord, Goblin Market, The Prophecy of the Stones, Pepperland, The Historian, the poetry of Percy Bysshe Shelley, Lord Byron, and John Keats, anything by Jane Austen, and plenty, plenty more.
