Note to BotE readers (04/04/2009)...

It's currently been put on hiatus, for reasons which I explain on my blog. Sorry to disappoint, but it's going to be at least a few weeks before I finish the re-write and start updating again. I'll leave the story up here until then, but afterwards it's going to be replaced by the new version. Please feel free to make a copy of the old version if you want to.

Name: Indigo - or just Indy for short.

Country: Wales

Appearance: Short and pale with green eyes and very long dark red-brown hair.

Stories: Currently I have six fics up, Rookie, for the Artemis Fowl fandom, and Calligraphy, Ink Paintings, Affection and Breath on the Embers for The Twelve Kingdoms/Juuni Kokki. Rookie's been on hiatus for a while now, and given the new plot of the The Time Paradox I've been thwarted in my planned plot developements.Will let everyone know if I decide to finish it. Maddewch i mi! Sorry... Working on more Immortal Rain oneshots to keep Strangers company.

Current Projects:

Rookie:

Holly battles her way through the LEP Academy. However, in the background, mysteries are forming, lives are at stake, and she'll have to use every grain of her determination to survive the storm. Worse still, there's a certain flyboy Cadet on her mind...

Ink Paintings:

Short stories and fictions. Currently contains Home, in which Enki takes a trip to Hourai, and Perfect Artwork, in which Keiki pays a call to Taiki and is surprised by the ways in which he is growing up. Lots more stories planned, including some YoukoxKeiki and TaikixGyousou and even some RenrinxSeitaku. I suppose Affection should be in here really, but it felt like more of a stand-alone than part of a collection.

Breath on the Embers:

Youko-centric adventure fic. As the celebrations for her sixth year of rule end, there is intrigue and heartbreak beneath the gloss of Kei's new face. And even with more political and moral troubles than will comfortably fit in the Red Child's hands, she can't help but remember the other Empress who only lasted six years...

BotE is progressing nicely, although I'm going cross-eyed from the amount of research involved. I really hope you like it... it's going to run waaaaaay long. I'm estimating about 100,000 words! More chapters coming very soon- they're written but need some editing. This will be my major focus for the next few months - it needs all my attention, fic-wise.

Future Projects: Planning to write more for Juuni Kokki, mostly a short story collection called The Empress' Bedtime Stories, which will be mildly YoukoxKeiki, among others. Maybe a sequel for BotE if I get the time. I'm also in the planning stages for a novel-lengther Spirited Away fic, which is top secret and hopefully a bit unusual. That will be my next serious project after I finish BotE. I'd like to do something for Immortal Rain, too, which is very vague but goes by the name of Railway Lunchbox and might be a story collection.

Pairings: My favourite is YoukoxKeiki for Juuni Kokki, but I also like TaikixGyousou and ShouryuuxEnki. For Artemis Fowl, I like HollyxTrouble and RootxVinyaya. For Spirited Away and Immortal Rain I choose the canon.
