I've got a thing for the 1980s. More specifically, the music and leg warmers. I like a lot of '70s music too. My favourite artists include Styx, Boston, ABBA, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Billy Idol, Queen, DEVO, and Blue Oyster Cult.

I'm Canadian; I say 'eh' all the time, but have a great dislike for all things hockey (or sports in general), and prefer Starbucks over Timmy's. Though I do love ketchup chips.

Joss Whedon is a genius. There is no contesting that fact.

My first language is English, though I've gotten pretty good at Al Bhed. I'm decent at French, and in the midst of beginning both Japanese and Mandarin Chinese.

I don't know what I'd be without video games. I’m a Nintendo fangirl through and through, but I can appreciate PlayStation things (except for the PSP). Xbox is, in general, just NO. I hold a great dislike for Halo. More recently, my favourite game’s been Tales of Symphonia. Two words: epic win.

I like anime and manga, but not nearly as much as I used to. My all-time favourite manga are Fruits Basket and Fullmetal Alchemist, and my all-time favourite anime are Serial Experiments Lain and Last Exile. I’m really into a bunch more, but those are the big ones.

Books are a big thing for me, too. I’ve gotten into the Elric stories (by Michael Moorcock) lately, and my favourite author is Charles Dickens (even though I’ve never actually finished one of his books – I’m halfway through A Tale of Two Cities and almost done Dombey and Son).

For fanfiction, I’ll mostly only read yaoi; as well, it’s mostly the only thing I’ll write. It isn’t my fault that most female characters in anything are only there for a damsel in distress figure.

The epic collab princespeach and I have been writing together has finally been posted! It is under ToS and Naruto crossovers, but it’s a crossover of many different things. It’s called Touché. So read it.
