Author has written 4 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist, Outsiders, and Twilight.

Welcome to yet another profile page here on FFN.

My penname on here has been changing, and may do so again in the future ... so I would advise that you take that into account when viewing my work. For your convenience, my past aliases are as follows:

Hi-Tetsu no Renkinjutsushi
Kume-Angel of Re
Bakura-N-Me

This, FHT, is the current one. Simple, tiny, efficient, and I like it ... though I may again change it without notice, so beware.

Now, more about the writer, less about the pseudonyms ...

Name: Samantha Bernice

Birth date: 6 December

General appearance: Caucasian, blond, blue eyes ... what might be considered "Arian" were the term not so historically blacklisted because of its use by Nazis.

Height and weight: 5' 7", c.180lbs

Languages: English, Hungarian, French

Nationality: Hungarian, Czech, Russian, possibly German or English

Resides in: Edmonton, Canada -- and let me clarify that no, we don't all live in igloos; I personally live in an over-priced basement suite.

Interests: Writing, reading, philosophy, film studies, photography, art, music.

Education: I go to a Performing and Visual Arts school. I major in choral and video studies, as well as excelling in the mandatory French class. My worst subject is PE, my best core being Language Arts. I enjoy Science, dislike Math, and really hope I do well in Social Studies this term.

Favorites: Colors - Red, Black, White; Number - 15; Day - Thursday; Time - 5am; Video game - Pokemon.

Other: I like anime and manga in periodic spurts. I enjoy the Lolita fashion, I have no fashion of my own (unless jeans and band t-shirts count) and I have few friends, but they're all quite good ones. Feel free to message me, though; I'm always open to new faces and acquaintances.

Anime of choice:

Fullmetal Alchemist (Dub, in this case, is preferred over the original) - Completed
Ouran High School Host Club (Subbed all the way) - Completed
Death Note (Dub & Subbed are equal in my mind) - In Progress
D. Gray Man (Subbed by default) - Yet To Start
Lucky Star (Subbed by default) - Yet To Start
Claymore (Subbed by default) - Yet To Start
Elfen Lied (Subbed by default) - Yet To Start

Manga of choice:

Yu-Gi-Oh! - Completed
Five - In Progress
W Juliet - In Progress
Fullmetal Alchemist - In Progress
Suicide Island - In Progress
Pokemon Special - In Progress
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni - Yet To Start
Hellsing - Yet To Start
Godchild - Yet To Start
Hana no Kimi - Yet To Start
Blood + - Yet To Start
xxxHolic - Yet To Start

Note: I'm certainly always looking for feedback and recommendations for both manga and anime. I like every genre, from horror and macabre to bubbly shoujo romance-pop.

I RP here, with this character:

Character Name: Karen Alleck

Age: 27

Gender: F

Alias: The Sculpted Iron Alchemist

Rank: Major (State Alchemist)

Hair: Brown, short, and often pulled away from her face.

Eye Color: A dull forest green with a ring of brown near the pupils.

Personality: A very moderate person. She's not quick to complain unless she deems an order or task "below" her. Many superior officers consider her a maverick, the rest a prime example of militia. she tends to be hard-working when she gets any form or paperwork (though her writing is untidy). She's caring towards other alchemists and most military personnel near or below her rank, though apprehensive around her superiors. When she converses with civilians, it is usually on her research time and conversations are cut quite short, which makes her seem curt and uncaring. This is all because she lives for her work, and wants nothing more than to become the best she can.

Scars or Marks: N/A

Background: Karen discovered an interest in the base materials of Earth at the age of twelve. Her father, Jason Alleck (who'd served two years in the military when he was younger) had been a bit of a dabbler in alchemy, her mother Lisa a simple housewife. Karen grew up in East City with a very moderate life and two younger siblings, Sherry and Cole. At the age of twenty-three, she took the skill she'd acquired from casual research and watching her father, and decided to take the State Alchemist exam. She failed this attempt, so resigned herself to improving her skill over the next two years. In the past, she'd tried to cover many areas of alchemy, but after being rejected from the military, she decided upon focusing her skills on Earth's minerals. Karen then took the exam two more times, failing the first, but succeeding the second. she now serves as a State Alchemist, hoping mostly to gain more knowledge about the science that's captured her thoughts, and to one day extend her knowledge beyond metal-based alchemy.

Alchemy/Fighting Style: She uses a combined array of earth and fire to meld together base metals into their purest from, then converting them into weaponry or shields when used on a battlefield. She has her array on her left palm, similar to Kimbley, though it's tattooed and not scarred.

--

A picture of the array she uses can be found here: http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i250/Derama/karenalleckarray.png (and, yes, I did research what each symbol within the array means.)
