As my user name suggests, I am a very die hard and passionate Basch/Ashe fan. I like writing them and reading any ones that are out there. If you've done one and I haven't reviewed just lemme know:) Any other pairings with either Basch or Ashe...(please don't get me wrong) tend to just put me off. Most of the time...catch me right and I will problie read it and if I like it...I will review. I don't like to think I'm completely closed minded. Exception bein' the gay couplin's..wont even go there! That and any BaschXPenelo. UNLESS its a one way crush thing from Penelo. Basch just wouldn't...he just wouldn't.
I also love my music. I don't know what I would without it. It helps me create and it gives me the feelings for the stories I write. I'd like to go to more concerts and gigs, but it's finding the money and transport! And I always seem to miss my favourite bands whenever they play over here.
My work is also my life. I am a care worker, for those with special needs and it is a very demanding job. But I love it and it takes up a lot of my time. So if I'm slow in updating anything, I apologise. Wait until I'm on holiday...right:)
TV: Science fiction...Star trek (any of em), Stargate & Atlantis, Lost, CSI (Vegas one preferably, but the other two are okay), The Mighty Boosh, Family Guy, Who's Line Is It Anyway, Firefly, Angel, Bones, Buffy...etc etc.
Films: Serenity (The best!), Ghostbusters (First ever film I saw at cinema), City Of Angels, Any Kevin Spacey film (he is brilliant!) Underworld/Underworld Evolution, Cannonball Run 1 & 2...Smokey and the Bandit (Not 3 that sucks.) There's loads more!
Music: Stone Sour (THE BEST!), Slipknot, Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, Apocalyptica, Nickelback, Theory of A Deadman. But hey, it's not all metal, I also love The Fray, Imogen Heap, Live, Maroon Five, Rolling Stones, Kinks, Led Zeppers, Madness, Texas, Capercaille, Runrig...the list goes on. But Stone Sour is my favourite of all time. Have a tatt on my back to show my appreciation too!
Works In Progress:
True Feelings: My first ever. I am having difficulty at the mo, trying to make sure everything fits in with what I've already written. But I'm adding to it. Slowly. I will not abandon this one...I shall see it through!! Chapter 16 on the way.
Songs for Basch & Ashe: This I want to be mainly short little drabbles, different times throughout, some post game, some pre. I've heard such wonderful songs recently that really capture the essence of Basch and Ashe and I have lots of ideas for this. These will be serious though.
Making Life: Fran learns of Hume reproduction and childbirth, when Ashe becomes pregnant. Humour/Romance.
Oils: It was only supposed to be a brief visit back, to hand over some important documents. But the sweet alluring aromas took him somewhere very unexpected. Fluff more likely.
Entwined Lives: I'm more than excited about this one now. I have talked with Aorin and Earisu and we're going to do a collaborative backround story on the twins. This will go into details of the boy's lives from their birth and their lives together as they grow. This will include a lot of Original Ocs, but it will be Basch and Noah who will be the central characters.
Ideas For The Future:
I have come up with a project for once TF or ML are finished. Or well...when I decide I want to start it. They are in two parts, both are set in Alternate Universes but are opposite to each other. I'm quite excited about this as the first one will be very dark. Anyhoo...they will be called:
Beware The Quiet One: Archadia is on the verge of winning the war. Dalmasca is overrun, Raminas is killed and Ashe has been taken prisoner by Vayne. He is after the location of the Dawn Shard, but Ashe refuses to tell him. So instead he brings in two of his most trusted Judge Magisters. Noah and Basch Fon Ronsenberg.
The Gentler Side: Dalmasca has been invaded. The King has been slain and now Ashe's life is in danger. Her two most trusted Knights manage to get her out of the palace, and along with some sky pirates and a couple of street thieves, she tries to regain her throne. All with the aid of both Basch and Noah.
Other ideas:
It's A Jolly 'Oliday Wiv You Basch: Balthier and Fran's breakaway is ruined by the arrival of the rest of their party. A supposed romantic trip together ends up with helping build sandcastles, fossil hunting, teaching swimming and being buried in the sand. Not all bad. A chance occurs for a little match making. Humour/Romance
Ivalice! Camera! Action!: Changed this idea completely. A very enthused citizen of Rabanastre gets hold of a memstone. Then he decides to document the adventures of Ashe and the restoration of Dalmasca. With some very conflicting and colourful accounts, just what really is the truth? Humour.
Angel On Ice: Winter in Landis. Set after the game, Basch returns home. Romance
The Zodiac Spear: Three men discover the only remaining Zodiac Spear left in Ivalice. It was crafted years ago during the Dynast reign, but now there's gonna be a bit of a dilemma. Who is going to get it? Humour.
A Taste Of Metal: She had dreamed so many times that he had been killed at Nalbina. That night was just the same, though she was proven wrong when woken during the night. Slight AU/Lemon.
Immature: Ashe thought Vaan was more immature. But seeing Basch climbing the tree with such a childish grin, told her otherwise.
The Answer To The Question: All because Vaan wanted to share a room with his crush, A Knight and Queen have to bunk together. She asks him a question. Romance.
The Spawning Of The Wood: Never had Golomore wood experienced such a thing. When visitors come to Eryut village, Golomore and the Viera get a taste of what it is really like to be hume. Romance.
A Mini Adventure: The party uncover a strange new contraption in the middle of the Ozmone Plain. Humour
To Walk In Their Shoes: A spell goes awry. The party wake to find they are not themselves. Humour.
