In case this is your first visit to my profile - here's a little about me . . .

I'm a huge fan of superheroes and Superman is my favorite. I like the alien aspect plus the sadness of him being the last of his world. My favorite Superman stories in the comics always revolved around Krypton and what it was like. Thus my Superman story, Fathers and Sons, deals a lot with Krypton. There's action, drama, and romance. This story has been a real learning experience for me as it's the very first story I've written.

Another childhood favorite was Nancy Drew. I read all the originals and have several early editions. I read a few Hardy Boys books, but they never grabbed my attention like Nancy. After browsing this site I discovered the Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys Supermysteries. I've read a few of those and they're pretty good. They definitely made me a Nancy/Frank fan!

I always wondered what happened to Nancy's mother since they never told us in the books, so I wrote my own story, Past and Present Danger to explain what happened. I teamed Nancy up with the Hardy brothers like in the Supermysteries. I like a dash of romance so, there's some Frank/Nancy chemistry in the story. I've started my second ND/HB story and it will continue to build the Nancy/Frank relationship as well as give our detectives a mystery to solve.

More about me: you may have already figured out that I'm older (much older) and female based on my stories. I teach 2nd grade and love it. This is the best grade! I also like sci-fi, superhero, and mystery movies. In my free time I exercise, read, write, and cook (I love Food Network). I love rainy days, bubble baths, and margaritas.

Other interests: crime shows, baseball, murder mysteries, history and anything dealing with space. TV shows of interest over the years and in no particular order: CSI, Law&Order (all versions), Forensic Files, any version of Star Trek, House, 3rd Rock From the Sun, Seinfeld, Medium, the Mentalist, NCIS, and I'm kinda liking that new Vampire Diaries which is weird since I'm not a vampire fan.

Nov. 22, 2009: Well, I got a chapter completed for A Murder to Die For and posted that. Yay! That felt good, but I'm still not healthy. Too many sick kiddies in the classroom the past month. So, looking forward to the Thanksgiving break!

Summary: What happens when a seriel killer returns to River Heights to visit the grave of his first victim? Nancy Drew is quickly pulled into the investigation. An old friend and detective from Bayport, New York soon joins forces with Nancy and the police in an attempt to track down the killer before he strikes again.

1. Fathers & Sons

Summary: Takes place following the events of "Superman Returns." Feeling rejected by Lois, Superman heads to space to retrieve his crystals. He comes face-to-face with Brainiac and the bottled city of Kandor. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor is covertly building a corporation devoted to space exploration and finding someone or something that can destroy the Man of Steel. Lex plans to strike at the very thing Superman loves the most, his son. Brainiac plans to destroy the entire planet. Superman must stop them both.

2. A Murder to Die For

Summary: A murder in Hawaii just before a big Fashion Show isn't all it seems. Bess Marvin, Nancy Drew, and the Hardy brothers must track down the killer in order to clear an innocent man.
