Author has written 8 stories for Bleach.

It's probably time to find a better use for this space. It wasn't really an issue before because I was fairly certain no one was reading my profile page, but now I've gotten more hits here in the last week of July than in the past three months combined. (Side note: Wow! Just... wow. And of course a big thank you to everyone visiting.)

My stories are all for Bleach and I can't imagine that changing anytime soon. I'm a big IchiRuki fan and this is reflected in my writing. Orihime fans have nothing to fear, however. I don't think she and Ichigo are right for each other, but I do think she's an interesting, complicated character and I try very hard to do her justice. For those of you wandering in, I recommend The Cruel Intersection of Dream and Memory and Quo Vadis. I would consider those my best work at present, though they are pretty depressing. If you're looking for something a little lighter there's Six Words on a Sunny Afternoon (which I'm guessing is responsible for the sudden spike in profile traffic in the first place).

I highly encourage you to check out some of the very talented people on my favorite authors list. Highlights:

cricketchick1990 -- Nobody writes IchiRuki romance like this girl. Mainly because it's light on typical 'romance,' and chock full of all the bickering, banter, and chemistry that make Ichigo and Rukia so interesting in the first place.

debbiechan -- Wide range of fics and absolutely beautiful prose style. What really stands out for me, though, is how well she characterizes Orihime.

peroxidepest17 -- Consistently wonderful and usually hilarious stories about members of the 11th Division. It's a pretty daunting body of work, but scroll through and find the Bleach fics. It's worth it.

Reviewers: Thank you!! There's no better feeling than knowing that your writing has had a real effect on someone, and that they cared enough to say so.

In progress:

Break This World -- (title tentative) Having a real hard time writing so I figured working on something different would help. Standard Hueco Mundo/fighting Aizen/destroying hogyouko story, but with a bit of a twist. No estimated completion time yet, but should be a long one shot when done, possibly with second chapter epilogue.

The Waking -- UPDATE: First chapter completed, final touches and proof reading in progress. Sorry it's taking me so long. I keep changing something in the first chapter, then having to fix all the ripples that will cause in the later ones.

Victor Written -- A history of Hisana's life in Rukongai and eventual marriage to Byakuya, (hopefully) told as a series of short vignettes (having a hard time keeping some of them short enough). The impetus for this was my inability to reconcile Byakuya's perception of her with the fact that she abandoned an infant in one of the worst districts of Rukongai. Also, while I can see a smart and resourceful child surviving, I'm skeptical that the same can be said for small baby.

Someone to Watch Over Me -- This is my comic relief project for when I get sick of writing angsty melodrama. Contains 11th Division craziness and IchiRuki fluff. Should be a two parter when done, and the first chapter is half written.

Also: Miscellaneous one-shots that enter my mind and prevent me from getting any real writing done.
