Firstly, my name is Melissa, I am 18 yrs old and I am an avid reader of Harry Potter fanfiction.

I believe that certain stories and certain relationships just have to be told no matter how unconventional they are. While certain pairings are both unconventional and not overly liked, if the right author comes along and approaches the story in the right way, they can soon be distinguished as some of the best stories on this site. I may not be a fan of certain couplings but if I find the story to be remarkably well written, with a plot worth publishing and the characters remain true to the author's original vision, then I will recommend the story over and over again. To write a story takes effort, time and devotion, so it is only fair that remarkable stories written by remarkable people should be given the credit they deserve.
