How absolutely true.

Guys-

Hey there. Haven't been around these parts (2 weeks without fanfiction? A month? Impossible!) much lately, and somehow, the huge ballooning ache (which my kind betas sometimes call "the prolific writer who spams my inbox with crap") seems to have, well, deflated. Horrendously. It's close to a floppy limp bit of rubber now.

I started out here loving every bit about mooching off someone else's brainchildren. And loving His Dark Materials. And Final Fantasy VII. Both. All. A lot.

But now, everything's kinda...lost its charm. Like Disneyland when you realise the tickets are ten dollars more than they used to be, and the staff at the counters don't smile much anymore. It started coming the moment I kindamaybesorta got flamed about a particular concrit I left for a writer. Maybe I shouldn't have been so harsh, or maybe I should've. I'm beyond thinking about that for the moment, but I know it had something to do with the final tipping-of-the-scales.

And I'm horribly, horribly sorry for every person who has ever ever favourited my HDM fic or ever ever reviewed because, after close to two months without posting about it, it's flopped. Dead. Went to (the Republic of) Heaven. I don't really know about this Heaven thing with literature pieces.

And Final Fantasy VII? I love that horrible horrible frickin' perfect horrible game that made my mind spin with ideas I could never write properly. I like to write, but maybe not for something that has so many characters that I can try to fool myself that I own one. C'mon, that would make it a nice 10214834 girls having a go at Reno all at the same time.

I've taken a break from deviantART (where I post most avidly about the most inane things like breaking up and self-identity which is cliche'd and grossness) for the moment to focus on a (gasp) Eragon fic with (gasp) Eragon and Murtagh as my starring males. Oneshot, though. And I've got a piece about Tseng and Reno and an initiation, but that one still needs some tidying up. Watch out for those two.

And after that?

Well, I don't know for certain. Perhaps I shall leave these hallowed halls, for they no longer have a place for people with low intellect and belligerence of a hundred teenagers. TLHD will be continued, but Rachel is down and out for the count as far as I know. She'll be back soon.

Well, I've realised that for whatever I've told you about myself, it's hardly telling. The basics: Anne, 14, Catholic, orange. Oh yes, Chinese. But that's a pain in the neck.

I suffer from something that really should be called a disorder. It's histrionicism, and it's the compulsive need to be at the centre of attention. All the time. I'm a sad person with no life.

Then here's where I introduce someone to all of you. She is amazing incarnate and awesome in the flesh. She betas all my Final Fantasy VII work and wields the sword of grammar and bolded-text effortlessly. She is GoldenShinyWireofHope and the nicest co-writer/beta/friend I've come to know through this site. People have asked me to beta their work (vice versa as well), and trust me, I've gotten my fair share of weirdoes, but this girl has stuck with me through thick, thin and the dreaded time zone gaps. She is my favouritest (oh yes that's a word) online electronic icon by far.
