About the author:

I’m a UK writer who’s relatively new to fanfiction, having only really discovered it in the Autumn of 2007. I write on here under the nom de plume, Andra Dee. I’m currently having great fun ‘borrowing’ the characters from Kyle XY and have been putting them into my epic first ever fanfiction story called Breaking Through (novel length). I love all the characters in this show and wanted to have a go at writing an alternative story for them following the episode Leap of Faith. It has been a totally fun challenge doing this in my spare time.

My interests include: Visual Language (drawing; digital imaging; photography; film; theatre). I love collecting photographs and images (old and new) as well as creating my own. I also love music of all kinds. I have worked and played in and around the entertainment industry my whole adult life (in fits and starts), but have always shied away from any kind of limelight! I would hate to be famous – it’s one of my worst nightmares – so I tend to stick to the background (it’s more fun there anyway).

My biggest ambition is to make my own film (write, direct and produce), which I’m working towards…you just never know!
