Author has written 16 stories for Naruto. o o o Er. So I was told to write a bit more about myself in my profile. So ok. I'm very short. I sleep a lot. I love going to the park. Everything I write is something I wish someone else had written. I love to read. I only like to write. That's it. o o o FAQ: 1. Do you read/write poetry? Yes. I love it. My writing style is derived entirely from it. 2. That story was so original! Where the hell did it come from? I only write the stories I would have liked to have read. I'm filling a niche market- my own. If you want more information on the inspiration for any story, just PM me. I always answer. 3. Will there be a sequel to 'Mama'? Maybe. 4. Dude. Been gone for a minute on 'Dates'. Wtf. Yeah I know. But I'm in school and things have piled up on me lately. I haven't forgotten Sasuke, I promise. He's going to get the happy ending he deserves. Who is 7LetterDirt? My friend. My editor. A douchebag. "Cult" Of all stories I've written, it seems that "Cult" is getting the most attention, so I thought I'd say a few words on it. Ultimately, I never wrote the piece to be witty, dark, disgusting, or pretentiously intelligent. The story is about fate and redemption- the paths our lives move us to follow and how we make other people into mechanisms for coping. If you'll notice, Sakura has no real personality outside of the ones constructed by both of the people who have used her- Sasuke and Ino. To both she is untouchable and infallible, despite what they have done to her. Both attempt to redeem themselves in her eyes- Ino is unused to someone usurping her power to control, and so she attempts to control and subjugate Sakura, while Sasuke believes he is inherently "bad" like his brother and sees in Sakura a normalcy and "goodness" he wants to capture for himself. Ino's attraction to Sakura does not make her lesbian. Ino wants to control Sakura because Sakura "took" what was "hers" - Sasuke. Ino is attracted to Sakura only because she hates her, fears her and needs her to be under her control. Ino has related sex with control. In observing Sakura in her vulnerable moments and fantasizing about becoming sexually involved with Sakura, she expresses her need to control Sakura through fear. Sakura is straight and straight-laced and Ino knows this. Ino can therefor imagine nothing more terrifying or humiliating for Sakura than if she were forced to have sex with her. Sasuke is not an asshole for recording himself having sex with Sakura. True, it probably wasn't very smart of him to keep the file on his computer in a place that could be easily found, and he probably should not have trusted Kiba, but Sasuke didn't record the sex for a lurid reason. He wanted to record it to keep as proof of fact he had "touched" something "good". Sakura is Sasuke's fantasy of "goodness", something he can't be but very desperately craves. In this piece it was important that Itachi be shown as depraved and Sasuke as desperate. Sasuke thinks he will become his brother- sees signs of his terrorist brother everywhere- and can't help but want anything else. His moments with Sakura are a taste of something Sasuke believes he could never have otherwise. This doesn't mean his attraction to her is insincere, it just means that it is heightened. Even in light of her "falling from grace" amongst her classmates, Sasuke still sees Sakura as untouchably good. Sakura is something Sasuke needs. Thanks for all your support! | |||||||||
