I can understand his longing for a family, but Naruto is far too naive. Despite the broken world around him, he continues to live in his own ethereal imagination. Rejecting reality and substituting his own,while that's perfectly fine for a civilian child or children, its far from acceptable for a Shinobi, But sadly this world isn't, he's gullible and naive to the point where he's willing to sacrifice his life to bring back a traitor to prove that the boy wasn't a traitor. Its a selfish reason and yes hes human allowing him that but the narutos world have an imminent war with hawk which is composed with sasuke,madara,karin,water person, curse seal person, shark person and no dought they will assemble an army to defeat konoha, and the kyuubis chakra can only get him so far before he has on his own abbilitys which are at best high chunnin, and the reason that is because of his stamina blind courage and high kage bunshins and rasengan and chakra, but seeing as his enemys have far more strong points in him and seeing as kyuubi can be controlled he is at best low to mid chuunin.
another thing i hate is how authors give naruto a new lifestyle yet has the same personality only stronger.
