Wyatt is his Barrier, the one that can filter the ghosts and give Chris the ability to be 'normal'. Young, but wise, the two boys keep Chris's true extent of his ability a secret, his family already brushing it off as a witch's natural ability to see ghosts. But when Chris's powers develop quickly effecting him in his everyday life, the others are shocked and are surprised when the extent of the boys' relationship are disclosed.
