Hi everyone!!

I am Tara. Wife, mom, full time employee in the health care industry, and an avid reader. My wonderful teenage daughter introduced me to the Twilight universe on October 10, 2007. I have read the books several times over, at this point. The first time I finished reading the books, I felt like I was saying goodbye to a very close friend. Actually, a few close friends.

I had read all three books in four days. (And that was with me purposely slowing myself down to enjoy the story longer.)

I envied the people who were just starting to read the story. Ah, the joy of discovery.

It was times like this that made me wish I didn’t have such a good memory. I wanted to forget everything I had read so I could start all over again.

To think this had all started because I asked my daughter about the book she had brought home from the library. She couldn’t put it down and I'm always interested in a good read... She said it was told from a teenager’s point of view so I probably wouldn’t like it. She said I probably wouldn’t be able to relate and at best I would think it had a weak plot and immature writing style.

Boy, was she wrong!

I was so grateful to find this site once I had finished reading Eclipse. I tried to read a few books after that, but came up feeling hollow because my mind kept drifting and I would find myself wondering what Edward or Bella or Alice would be doing... ok - mostly Edward... lol..

Since finding fan fiction, I have laughed and cried with a lot of you and shared a bit of my heart with a couple of you. After reading some truly fabulous stories on here, and with a little encouragement, I have decided to finally try my hand at writing. To all of you out there who have written from the heart, I thank you for bringing me so many happy moments and for inspiring me to try to do the same for others!!
