At thirteen years of age, Fanfiction.net introduced me to a world I had never experienced before; the world of same-sex romantic fiction between men. I had always been fascinated with the idea of two men becoming involved in a romantic relationship as passionate and heartfelt as any a straight couple would share, but it was only when I discovered this site that I realised there were others that felt the same; that I wasn't an odd-ball.

So now, years later, I am still a devoted (obsessed) follower of the fiction on this sight, but I have also moved on to reading original gay novels. I would like to mention and perhaps recommend some titles which I particularly loved reading and which some of the people looking at this profile might fall in love with as well.

Dynasty of Ghosts by P.L. Nunn- (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7132358-dynasty-of-ghosts)- You will LOVE this book if you are into slash fiction. It has everything you could possibly want; beautiful main characters, a fantastic plot, princes, castles, jealous ex's, hot sex scenes, a sweet romantic plot and so much more. I cannot do it justice, you simply have to read it to see.

Bloodraven by P.L. Nunn- (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6617506-bloodraven) Another amazing work which deals with a fantasy style plot. Contains some pretty crude and rough scenes but again the main characters are beautiful and the plot is simply riveting.

Scarlet and The White Wolf series by Kirby Crow-(http://www.goodreads.com/series/45775-scarlet-and-the-white-wolf) Such a lovely trilogy, you'll fall in love with the two main characters and ache for their troubled relationship.

The Adrien English Mystery series by Josh Lanyon- (http://www.goodreads.com/series/43119-adrien-english-mystery) So, so incredibly brilliant. This book is different to the previous ones in that it is not set in a fantasy land and it's characters are somewhat older. However, it is truly an incredible read and the main character, Adrien, is so likeable and witty that you'll find yourself really caring about what happens to him in his relationships. Also a good book for those who love a good mystery!

A Matter of Time series by Mary Calmes- (http://www.goodreads.com/series/52520-a-matter-of-time) Another sweet, sexy series with likeable characters and interesting plots.

Nightrunner Series by Lynn Flewelling- (http://www.goodreads.com/series/40357-nightrunner) A brilliantly written series but I must warn you that the plot is not soley focused on the romantic relationship and there are no explicit sex scenes. However, the romance between the two main characters develops beautifully throughout the series.

Many readers might be well acquainted with all or some of these works already, and if anyone has anything to say about them, or would like to recommend some more brilliant books to me, please leave a message. I'm always looking to read more, its my passion.

Anyway it was exam and essay season for the last few weeks so I honestly had no time. Now I just need to edit my chapters up a bit, find a good office doc and one will be up soon I hope!
