UPDATE: Currently in the search for a fun distraction! As I have the bad habit of losing interest with doing the same thing for very long, I thought I would ask for requests to break the tedium. My initial plan was to never have two stories from the same place, but I won't bother to limit myself (or any of you) for the moment. One-shots are easier, but, depending on how interesting the material is, I could definitely do more. Any ideas...?

ABOUT YOUR SCRIBBLER======

People seem to have this annoying tendency to have different expectations for people of a certain age and gender, so I do my very best to let my readers decide those things for themselves. However, for the purposes of educating the masses, I will disclose my religion. I am what is officially called an "agnostic-theist." Please note that an agnostic-theist is not an atheist. He or she is an individual who believes in God, but, to put it simply, hasn't quite gotten all the other details worked out yet. As a result, this Scribbler has developed something of a passion for learning about different religions, and considers each and every one of them to be endlessly informative.

Other than that, I don't have too much more to say about me that's very interesting. I love to work with my hands, so writing, drawing, painting, sculpting, reading, playing video games, and cooking are all a lot of fun. I share my home with various family members, including a dog and cat who make me smile every single day. (Smiling is something else I very much enjoy.) While I am a fan of most Tim Burton films, my irrational fear of scissors has stopped me from ever making it through Edward Scissorhands without squirming in my seat. And yes, as you might guess, watching me get a haircut is buckets of fun. Needless to say, I've gotten pretty good at going to my Happy Place pretty darn quick.

Now...books. Books, books, books. Well, right now I'm reading Dracula. The book I love best is probably The Fountainhead, followed closely by Atlas Shrugged. (Hah, I think I just like Ayn Rand.) That said, I'm also a fan of Sherlock Holmes (yes, all of them), 1984, Good Omens, The Book Thief, Catch-22, The Catcher in the Rye and anything by the legendary Edgar Allan Poe. They are all wonderful, and they all deserve to be read as many times as possible.

MY FAN-FICTION======

Crescents - A currently unfinished project that began as a half-joking suggestion from a friend of mine and evolved into something else entirely. It takes place in the Twilight universe and attempts to provide Jasper's account of what all went on before and after Bella ended up locked in a hotel room with a hungry vampire struggling to maintain his "vegetarian" diet. It should eventually enclose the entire proceedings of Twilight.

Drawn to You - A one-shot I wrote as a gesture of thanks to Aeriths-Rain, who was kind enough to write a Final Fantasy VII "Moment" at my request. It is a part of the Loveless universe, but the characterization and situation are so entirely AU that it's almost entirely reduced to an amorphous pile of pure fluff.

My Immortal: Ebony Redefined - If you are a reader of fan-fiction and even slightly familiar with Harry Potter, than you likely know about the hysterical bad that is My Immortal. Ebony Redefined was my first attempt at fan-fiction, and tried to take a joke that went out of its way to be bad and turn it into something serious. Unfortunately, as its inspiration is no longer a part of the FanFiction.net, I did not plan to continue it. However, the general kindness and positivity of my reviewers is rapidly making me reconsider...

Stealing My Cool - A nonsensical journey that uses Kingdom Hearts as a means of telling any die-hard Final Fantasy fan what would REALLY happen if our favorite angsty protagonists actually ran into each other. Sometimes "having a lot in common" isn't necessarily a good thing. Oh, and Cid was there. And really, isn't that what counts?

We're Friends Right? - A Final Fantasy VII one-shot that attempts to tell the story of Zack and Cloud's final journey together. It combines the events of the original game, Advent Children, Last Order, and, to a lesser extent, Crisis Core. I would love to say it is entirely canon, but--as there is an implied relationship between the two within the story--I can only say that it's close. That said, of everything I have been foolish enough to show the rest of the internet, this is the story I like the best.

TwilightMomofTwo. As my current fan-fiction is in the Twilight universe, it seems only appropriate that I should suggest something else that my readers might enjoy. This is a woman who puts an incredible amount of heart into her fan-fiction. Worth the read if you find my writing even remotely bearable.
