Author has written 3 stories for Star Wars, Mulan, and Song of the Lioness.

Hello, my darlings. (That doesn't sound creepy at all.)

Anyway, thanks for coming to look at my profile. There's little for me to say, mostly because I'm currently revamping my fanfiction account. To all those who reviewed Forgiveness and With Tears They Buried You, I'm terribly sorry. Their time had come. I was actually scrolling through the forums and I read the summary to Forgiveness and thought, "Wow, who wrote that summary? This sounds like a terrible story." Then I saw the name of the author, and the death knell sounded. I guess that I'm starting a transition from my childish writing to more mature writing. The key word there is "more", and so that statement doesn't necessarily mean too much.

You can call me Claire. I'm a high school student who cares more about original fiction than fanfiction; my sad little list of stories reflects said preference. I'm a rabid fan of the Green Bay Packers, history of all kinds, reading, writing, and the History Channel.

Call me a nerd, and I'll say, "Yes, I know."

I also love the TV show The Mentalist, as well as books by Isabel Allende, Tamora Pierce, Laurie R. King, Patricia Cornwell, Elizabeth Peters, Jane Austen, and Lydia LaPlante.

I love learning. I hate school. I love studying history and English, and I'm studying Spanish and Chinese. If anyone wants to PM me to have a nerds' chat about history or to practice Spanish and/or Chinese, please do! I'm always happy to talk with fellow enthusiasts!

Ah, music. This topic requires a paragraph separate from my other favorites. My favorite bands/artists include Maino, The Black-Eyed Peas, Owl City, Shiny Toy Guns, Kevin Rudolf, and all music from Les Miserables. I also play the piano and I (prepare for supreme obsessiveness and nerdiness) love seeing how music, art, and history are all intwined. For example, during the Romantic era --

Right. Sorry. Anyway, I've been terribly longwinded, and I'll bet all of two people will ever read this page. That's all right.

Best!

claire
