Things I Absolutely Hate And Abhor With Every Fibre of My Being: YAOI/SLASH or YURI, Legomances, incest fics, creepy people, Mary Sues, Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus (and other famous people with no talent), Twilight (shut up, people), real life emo-ness/angst/depression or all three together, even numbers, Wednesdays, stress, terribly inexperienced writers, and penguins. Yes, I know they're under my "list of love," it's a love-hate relationship.

Note 11/1/09: Yes, I know, I haven't updated anything in a very long time. I'm sorry, I really am, and I'm not just saying that to say it - what do you think I'd rather do, write fanfiction or write a 5-page English assignment? SO. School has quickly proven itself a vampire with a preference for my free time. AND I recently discovered NaNoWriMo, fell in love with the idea, and signed up (yeah, I don't know what I was thinking, either). Then college app deadlines are coming up. So I'm veeeeeeeryyyyyyyy busy. Very. In case you couldn't already tell.

My To-Do List: Half-Truths, The Ivory Deity, and a 9 one-shot since Shane Acker is an imagination-genius (so what if the movie wasn't as awesome as it could have been - I fell in love with the man's ideas and characters, not his directing).

Where The Wild Things Are is depressing but very, very good. If you have not seen it and it was as important to you as it was to me when I was young, please go watch it. You will bawl like a baby. Although I didn't...but then again, I've been told I have a heart of stone...tis not true...I almost cried when General Grievous died...

To those who want more Maximum Ride: I haven't forgotten about my project, Pyromaniac. Really. I haven't. It's in the recesses of my To-Do-List...somewhere back there. I think I have to clean off all the dust first before I can find anything.

1. The Ivory Deity: A Bleach AU in which Ichigo and his friends manage to rescue Orihime from Hueco Mundo before the war begins. They return to Karakura and resume their lives, waiting for the inevitable, when a mysterious girl named Yume with an equally shadowed past drops into their lives. How will this odd girl affect the upcoming war when a deadly Hollow is set on killing her and she can imitate any shinigami's power? And what happens when both Byakuya Kuchiki and Mayuri Kurotsuchi take an interest in her...neither of their intentions exactly well-meaning? Genre: Romance/Adventure/Action. Rated T for mild language and action violence. Pairings: Ishihime, ByakuyaOC friendship, and a light hint of Ichiruki. Main characters: Uryu Ishida, Orihime Inoue, Yume Yamazaki (OC), Byakuya Kuchiki, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, and Gin Ichimaru.

2. Half-Truths: When Uryu wounds Orihime beyond repair and kills dozens of shinigami in the process, he is condemned and sentenced to death by the Seireitei. Can Orihime prove to him, and the shinigami, that Uryu is not the cold-blooded monster everyone says he is, before it's too late? Guilt-ridden and hopeless, will Uryu even accept her efforts? There is something suspicious underfoot in the Seireitei, and Uryu is the center of it all...or is he? - Mid-SS Arc, AU. Genre: Horror/Romance/Angst. Rated T for violence, blood, dark themes and disturbing images. Pairings: Ishihime, implied Ichiruki. Main characters include: Uryu Ishida, Orihime Inoue, Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Unohana, Yamamoto, and Aizen.

3. Pyromaniac: The winner of the "next-in-line" poll. In the early stages, but everything is basically planned out. A plan to help the environment swiftly spirals out of control when an oblivious pyromaniac enters the scene and puts Iggy and Fangs' lives in jeopardy. It's a race against time, the elements, and a traitor's plot for the rest of the flock, and their enemies don't plan on making the rescue easy for them. (What can I say...Patterson's turn towards sending a message about global warming actually had its benefits...it inspired this! Even though it's not about global warming.) Genre: Drama/Suspense/Adventure. Rated T for intense situations, action, violence, and mild language. No pairings. Main characters: Iggy, Fang, Max, and (OC) pyromaniac.

~A Word on my Favorites~

Note: I do not favorite things easily. They must be well-written (grammar, anyone?), have a plausible plot, and all of the characters must be IN-CHARACTER.

The below mentioned are my favorites among my favorites; read them and enjoy. You won't regret it.

1. Things As They Should Be: By Legolas - This insanely funny fanfic is what convinced me to join ff.net in the first place. I almost cried from laughing too hard...definitely a must-read. :)

2. Elven Song - The very first fic I've ever read that was actually able to put tears (not happy ones) in my eyes. I know. WOW.

3. The Essences Of Life - Such a good fic. One of my all-time favorites, and not only because it stars my absolute favorite character (General G.). This thing's EPIC. I just wish the author would update more often...:(

4. The Shadow of Vader - A favorite for Obi-Wan angst lovers (me, hahah)...and anyone who just likes to see the good guys who are meant to stay that way turn just BAD. :D

5. Pink Doesn't Suit You - Best. Crack-pairing. EVER. And it's completely believable, too. Go read it. Now.

6. The Twelve Tasks of Mayuri Kurotsuchi - Again, an all-time favorite; this story is one of those ones that centers on a specific character, but also manages to involve everyone else at the same time. You don't even have to like Kurotsuchi to fall in love with this fic! It's for IchiRuki shippers, Ishihime supporters, as well as those rooting for ShunsuixNanao and ByakuyaxHisana and...well, it goes on and on. Mixed with humor and romance and a wonderfully structured plot, I have to admit that this story has and probably always will be my number one fave.
