i was going to say "lair of -something cool-" or "house" but then i remembered "oh yeah, it's a profile. oops." so it became boring. oh well. -does weird balance thing with hands-

Anyways, hey guys, I'm Island of the Ships! Obviously that's not real name, but as I'm not a big fat sillypants, I shan't be telling you what it really is.
So...call me Ships.

Oh, and in case you have noticed, i'll be changing/rotating profile fillers in and out every few time chunks or so. i have a lot of great profile thingys, but they aren't very cohesive with eachother.

Projects (in the order that I think of them):
Another Way: my first epic and lengthy fan fiction. don't worry AW fans, chapter 21 was started at about 9pm tonight, and I've been workin gon it til about 1:45am. I need sleep and HP 6, and the latter is not at my current location. Please bare with me and wait one more day. Ruby Tyra inspired this with her own crossover epic, An Eventful Year. She crosses like 12 different fandoms together in perfect harmony.
Mistaken Obsessions: my first attempt at romace, yaoi, and lemon. yeah, it's pretty crazy. seriously, my sole reason for writing this was my being fed up with the fact that their aren't many good non-AU Edvy ficts. many thank yous to Silent Dagger, without whose work to go back to and get help from, i couldn't have written that rape sequence (no i did not steal anything, they were just very inspirational).
Connections/Outcast: my daughters. takes a lot from my own experiences as being in Ed's position. that german class scene was pretty much autobiographical. Outcast is pretty much on hiatus because of school and other projects taking priority, but fans of that should definitly read Connections (amazing fact: it's the same storyline, but winry tells it!)
That Day by the Pool: my first fanfict ever. seriously. the Tale of the Children doesn't count. i had this idea while swimming.
Candy Hearts: an autobiographical one-shot. I needed to write it, and the relationship between Tatsuki and Ichigo perfectly matches my friendship with Ichigo's counterpart. you won't see too many more of these other than pieces i slip into Connections.
The Tale of Harry's Children: the first random strings of fanfictional silliness i ever wrote down. i think i put this up simply because i was taking forever with everything else, and felt you guys needed something to read.
The Writings of Luna Lovegood: it needed to be written, so one day i wrote down about 3 posts of Luna's blog, and thought "i should post this, if only because no one will read it"
Welcome to Their Lives (upcoming): a series of FMA song ficts based around the song Welcome to My Life. Mixed genres.
Girl On the Sidelines (upcoming): the Mary Sue that came into my head one day. I have a series of maybe 3 out of order one-shots already written. I may do this very Gaiman/Tarantino-esque and tell the story out of order in a series of vignettes.
Black Sea (upcoming): Fma song-ficts each corresponding to a song in XTC's album, Black Sea
The Fantastical Crack Pairing Based Harry Potter AU (in outline form): a collab fict i was going to do with one of my friends that we had all planned out a year ago. i may just release the outline to make you people laugh when i'm behind on stuff.
Seeing You Again (forgotten...): A POTC fict i wrote like a chapter and a half of, then promptly forgot about until i went browsing through my computer to write this Projects section of my profile.

Anything that says (upcoming) or anything else in parenthesis after the title won't be released (if ever) until after I've updated all my lengthy stuff first. i owe it to you guys to do that.

Unfortunately, that terrible thing that is school prohibits me from updating as often as I would like, as has my lack of inspiration with at least one project. Never to worry, AW is well on it's way, and after that I'm proceeding directly to whatever I updated the longest ago.
