Author has written 13 stories for Harry Potter, and Chronicles of Narnia. Once, I thought fanfiction was a passing fancy that would fade in time. I am, at this point in time, forced to admit the truth: that, just as Snape was faithful to Lily always, I am obsessed and it isn't going to go away. That being said, I have no wish to leave fanfiction and continue to gleefully enjoy the wonderful stories that populate the internet, and over time have even contributed my small imaginations. I operate primarily in the Harry Potter world, although I enjoy reading a wider variety as well. I am one of those odd folk that ships HGSS, although I don't mind a good HGDM and I've written some myself. Below are my stories, as of June 2009. Please feel free to read and review them :) as well as the stories and authors in my favourites. The Last Spy: Currently working it's way up through the double digit chapters, this is my WIP. It's SSHG, and it is AU from HPB. This is far from finished. I'm planning to cover Hermione's sixth and seventh year, as well a little afterwards, and include the Final Battle, and there'll be a lot of changes although I might steal some things from HBP and DH. Number the Stars: This is complete in four parts, each chapter focused on the rebuilding after the Final Battle, and the growing relationship between Hermione and Draco as measured by the stars. This one won runner-up for Best DHr Hurt/Comfort (Episkey) at the New Library Awards! Thanks to everyone who voted, it was a great self-confidence boost. The One and Twoshots: Raising Nargles is a Hermione-centric oneshot. It is AU and contains mild femmeslash. Eden Falls is a Harry-centric oneshot. It is AU and contains mildish slash. Cat's Cradle is a Hermione-centric oneshot, AU and disturbing. It delineates the thoughts of a mad person- or is she? The Happy Prince is the the entire life of Severus Snape as told by a children's tale by that same name by Oscar Wilde. It's a little angsty, but I was feeling a sudden bout of depression for the sad fate JKR consigned my favorite character to. Happy Birthday, Draco Malfoy was actually written for the Birthdays Challenge issued at the Reviews Lounge. It is, as the title suggests, Draco's birthday, a month after the Battle of Hogwarts. A thought on what may have happened to the Malfoy family in between leaving them standing together at Hogwarts and seeing a balding Draco with his kid at King's Cross. Plastic Trees and Tinsel is a twoshot, just about all fluff and fun DMHG. It's a Christmas-timed piece, in case you don't like those, but the season isn't really the main focus. Drinking Games I don't recommend as much as the other stories I've written. It's simply not my best writing. I blame the people who lived on my old floor for this: one can hardly write well when one is extremely pissed off at not getting any sleep because certain people like imbibing alcohol like water and then keeping everyone else up with their rowdiness. To Dream of Heaven is my only non-HP story as of this moment. It's set in the Chronicles of Narnia, but is more a real-world fic, concentrating on Susan after the events of the Last Battle where we find out that everyone but her has died in a train accident. I always wondered how she felt afterwards, with her entire family down to Polly and Diggory gone. To Life: Don't even bother. This one's been completely abandoned. It was my first fic, I had a very unenthusiastic response, and I wrote myself into a rut and couldn't figure out how to rescue my characters. Too bad, I did like the title. :) | |||||||
