Hi! I am Tailz!

I am one, and by guess, one of the very few yaoi fans who is in fact Christian! I love Jesus with all my heart. And I know that no matter what he will always love me, no matter how meny times I stumble. Now don't missunderstand me, I like yaoi only for the cute sweet love relationship-not the sex! not that I will deny writing and reading lemons, after all I'm only human and no where near perfect. Never judge a book by its cover I have a lot of gay/lesbian friends and love them for who they are, and some of them have found God becuase they were never turned away by a believer. As for yuri, not my cup of tea. Maybe I'm a bit odd, and maybe even a bit crazy, but I do believe with all my heart and soul, every thing that I am and all that I'm not is how God made me and uses me for his work-I may not know my place in his eyes, but I feel his love every day and know-I'm all that he wants me to be, plus more to mold. Keep in mind I can be very dark minded as I can light.

My Style: I am a simple writer, I don't know how to add a lot of detail into stories with out boring myself and maybe others, but get enough to still give the reader a feeling of what they read. My writing is unpredictable, what ever you think will happen, most likely, it won’t. I write anything a everything my heart and mind agree upon; either it be Humor, Love, Darkness, Light, Sad, Cute, Horror ect...if my mind thinks up the idea and my heart beats in excitement, I will write it, but almost all of my writing involves some kind of adventure. In the long run, I use fanfiction to imporve my writing skills and allow my mind to do whatever it wishes. I'm always trying to make my writing better, some of my most earlyer work is my weak writing style, where my newest is where my skill lies at today. I don't have a very big vocabulary, but that has never hurt my skill, at least not yet. This is kinda my hobby so it should never take me long to update or write new stories, but only when they are reviewed...I wont update so much if I think no one is reading what I write. Also I'm a novelst so when I'm updateing things on here chances are I have a writers block...I have a theory, if I can take someone elses charaters and work with them great, then I can mold my own into perfection! I do finish what I start! I hate it when people start a story and then never finish it! That is one of my fanfic petpeves!

IMPROTANT-Please, feel free to tell me if I'm doing somthing worng, even with character personalitys. If I mess up I can fix it *snap* just like that, if caught soon enough. (I can't get better if no one helps me)

I'm not big on favoriting Authors, but when I do its because they really deserve it; rather it be their story(s) or profile. I mostly subcribe authors over faving.

People come to this site to learn how to write. No one atomatically knows how to, professionals can tell you that much. This site is for people to get together and have fun. No one wants a flame but most can turn their cheek as long as if it has contructive criticism. But as this site grows more popular more people join this site for the wrong reasons. Thus the new and blossoming writers are a target for their foul mouths. Many new writers do not understand the concept of a flame and discontinue thier story. They never had they chance to blossom and become beautiful writers, instead they give up because someone decided to call them a foul name and didn't even bother to tell the author what was wrong with the story in the first place. I telling you this because I feel that this should come to stop. These people honestly believe that they're doing good by flaming. What they don't realize is that it's doing more harm than good. If they really wish for people to become better writers than they should be straight with them in a mature manner. No flaming, just telling the author politely what's wrong with the story. A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t repost it?

What Kind of Review is it?

- Encourage Review: This review type is the kind that will tell the author that the work is good and to keep up the good work. If it is obvious to them though that major improvement is needed, they will either avoid the fanfic entirely or go on to say that it simply needs work. This is the basic review type.
- Critique: A critique is a review that points out both the good and bad in a fanfic in order to help a writer improve. They TRY to leave some sort of word of encouragement, however even I will admit I forget to do so. And sometimes the only thing one can say is, “I really don’t think that one is trying their best. Note: Just because a review is long, blunt or points out everything, that doesn’t make it a flame.
- Flame: A flame is a review that the whole purpose is to bully the author into never writing again. In other words, the point isn’t to help, but hinder the growth of said writer. The simplest type of flame is something like, “A kindergartener would know the difference between their and there,” when actually, a kindergartener wouldn’t! That one is mild compared to some that I have seen!
- Gushers: Gushers are very similar to Encouraging Reviews, except the only reason that they are reviewing is because they are receiving instant gratification from ones work. In other words, they don’t care about the quality or the amount of work that actually went into it! For example, it may simply be that one is writing their favored pairing that they like the work.
- Spam Review: A copy paste review that has NOTHING to do with the fanfic. IF it has something to do with the fanfic, it isn’t spam!

One some notes on reviewing, the ones that are good are Encouraging Reviews and critiques, while the negative ones are the other three. Flames and Gusher reviews can also take the form of Spam review. The very best one is a combination of an Encouraging review and a critique.

This is not meant to sound rude to anyone, but if one can not be mature about the reviews they receive and get mad with being told their work isn’t perfect, they are perhaps not ready to be posting their work in a public forum. By this I mean, going onto rants, trying to publicly out the person. There is a proper way to handle the matter, and also an improper way. Though I can see outing someone like Flame Rising, who is one of the WORST flamers in the history of the site. And that is how I came to know

Tips for Writing Good Fanfiction:

- Know the difference between critiques and flames, encouraging reviews and gushers.
- Do not be afraid of rewriting when one isn’t happy with an idea.
- If one spent only one minute on a piece of poetry or only three to five minutes on a chapter, one did not spend enough time. This includes brainstorming and this is actually suggested by my teachers and famous authors! Also, it is obvious when one doesn’t spend much time.
- Read, write, practice! Another thing that isn’t just me saying it…
- It is one thing to take a fandom and improve upon it; however, taking it and usurping a good deal of the original creators work tend to be an insult to the original author and most fans… it is someone else’s world!
- Have a good knowledge base of the canon. This is another thing that is obvious.
- Think before you leap! Don’t just jump into an idea one has, think it all the way out. -Yes I understand most people enjoy doing this, I am one of them, but if you do, make it at least, look like you thought it out. ;)
- Avoid butchering canon… or bashing the canon in ways that insult the fandom and fans… it is someone else’s world!
- Keep characters in character; if the character has the same name as a canon character but has a different personality, it is NOT the canon character but an OC disguised as the character. Exception to the rule is an exaggerated or flipped personality, but ALL are that way, it is done purposefully and not done in an offensive way. (best example, making Orihime a HUGE 'ich for no reason-she isn't like that, even if Ichigo is taken)
- Read site guidelines for dos or don’ts. For example, Song Fics that are not in public domain are reportable. Public domain doesn’t mean that one can freely get the lyrics off the internet, but that one can use it with out repercussions! For an alternative to Song Fics, see Yemi Hikari's forum and Neosofics. (I don't know if mine would be a good way of doing songfics, but I think to think so)
- On this site, DON’T experiment with font! I apologize, but with the limitations of the site, that isn’t a good idea.
