Author has written 7 stories for Young Wizards, Keys to the Kingdom, and Twilight. Hello, Earth-people! I am simply on ff.n to express my inner writer (and inner insanity, I might add), because I have unlimited time on my hands, and a computer. A very nice computer, now that I stopped using my ancient one...the one that overloaded sometimes just because I booted it up...anyway... I'm a complete geek, and read an awful lot. Nearly constantly. I always have at least three books with me at all times. And an audiobook. And a computer that plays audiobooks. I'm now trying to learn to speak Irish Gaelic, and it's a lot of fun! The language is fascinating, and very fun to pronounce. Dath gorm ata ar an speir! :D Most of my favorite books, I've reread at least 12 or 13 times each. Still, I never get tired of the stories... Some of my favorite book series are: 1. The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer -- The books are good... I like some other series' better, but those books did captivate my attention. I really couldn't put them down... 2. Young Wizards by Diane Duane -- I've been reading these books for at least four years, and am always rereading one of them, and writing more fanfiction for them. The stories are just so...amusing...and the characters even funnier (i.e., Carmela with her Curling Iron/Eggbeater of Doom; Sker'ret constantly eating random objects; Dairine the brainy little sister getting herself into trouble because she wants to beat up Darth Vader, etc). This series is one of the reasons that I feel sad when a friend tells me they hate reading. I can't imagine someone not getting to laugh at the humor in these books, or understand the many inside jokes that have lead from them. 3. Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling -- I enjoy the adventure, though the magic seems a bit...made-up to me. Fake. I like it better when books make magic seem realistic, almost scientific (see the Young Wizards books as a good example of that). Anyway, I'm off to...hopefully not get yelled at for staying up past 1:00 AM again... I might edit this profile later... Remember: Reading is good for your brain! As is chocolate!! Haha, anyways... Dai Stihó Right now, I'm currently working on updating "When Pigs Fly," and updating "Life Happens," my first and a half Twilight fic. I'm also trying to convince one of my BFFs, rose-look-a-like, to keep writing, so that the fic "Jessica Cullen" might be updated! If you would, by any chance, like to help me with this endeavor, here is the link to her profile, so that you can PM her (and maybe make her think twice about giving up writing): http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1665290/rose-look-a-like (Note: her profile has absolutely nothing on it whatsoever. Just a warning...) Her argument is that she doesn't want to write anymore, because she's the one who wrote the "icky mushy stuff" of "Jessica Cullen," and that she did her job, and wants me to finish it. I think that she needs to help too...it was her idea! Hmm... My next attempt, shall be to feed her insane amounts of sugary substances, while asking very nicely...haha... UPDATE: Hey, I got rose-look-a-like to come up with some ideas, at a major sleepover/beach trip! So I'll be working on the next chapter of Jessica Cullen, though I don't know when it'll be up... | |||||||||
