Update: 4/25/2010: FeralNaru/Hina challenge, similar to EDelta88's, but with a few differences. MUST BE NARUHINA! Naruto is captured by ROOT Anbu after leaving the Academy (he was serving detention, so it's a tad bit late, hence it wasn't too hard), and taken to Danzou. Naruto's memories are erased, and he is transformed into a nine-tailed kitsune hanyou. After that, Naruto goes berserk, and manages to kill Danzou and escape, but is badly wounded. Found by Hinata, who recognizes him, she takes care of him until he is healed, and Naruto, acting on instinct, marks her as his mate (the neck-bite thing). Now, Hinata must help Naruto regain his humanity, and help keep him from being influenced by the wrong people, all the while dealing with (and enjoying) his affectionate behavior towards her. Character bashing is allowed, but not required. I prefer Sasuke-bashing, but it's not a requirement. Hiashi can be either good or bad, but if he is bad, Hinata and Naruto would have to live with Kurenai. Rated t-m, due to an overly-affectionate Naruto. Update: 5/2/2010: Challenge info I forgot: Naruto has all of Kyuubi's power in his kyuubified state, but it needs time to manifest at first (hence Hinata needing to treat his wounds instead of his wounds treating themselves) and in order to access any of the powers, he must be in a situation that pushes him to need them. (Only works this way for first use of any power. After the first use, he can use the power he's used any time he feels like it.)

Update: 8/9/2010: Promises Are Absolute challenge: Naruto has a certain power. He is constantly using it, but until Sakura convinces him to promise her not to ask her out ever again, he never realized he had it. His promises are absolute! No matter how much he tries, after making the promise to Sakura, he cannot ask her out ever again! Soon enough, Hinata notices Naruto's distress, and after finding the courage to ask him what's wrong, she suggests that he ask the Hokage about it. He has a bloodline that doesn't allow him to break his word. Rated whatever the heck you feel like, but I prefer T or M. NaruHina. If it's not, I won't count the fic as a challenge participant. Naruto cannot make promises that he's physically or mentally incapable of keeping. He must make some promises he regrets, and he can use his promises to get him and/or his friends through problems and missions intact, as long as he's physically capable of protecting himself and his friends, though this could mean failing the mission. He cannot be sworn in as a ninja the normal way, as he is mentally incapable of being loyal to some people who are possible future Hokages (like Danzou), and he is mentally incapable of swearing loyalty to the village (due to several villagers and Danzou), so he instead swears his loyalty to The Will of Fire. Also, if the promise is heartfelt enough, Naruto will gain an ability to see things in the near future that will affect that promise. Update: 8/9/2010: Sentient Weapon Partner challenge: Naruto finds a sword in the woods, and when he picks it up, he is startled when it talks to him. The sword's name is Shape-Shifter, and, like his name implies, he can take any form he wants. The sword befriends Naruto, and makes a deal with him: if he can learn to wield him properly, Shape-Shifter will help him gain true happiness. The main problem with this is that Shape-Shifter changes his form at least thirty times a day, due to getting bored with staying in one form for too long, and he is stubborn as well, so Naruto must learn to think the way Shape-Shifter does, and be prepared for whenever he changes form on him. While he will allow Naruto to choose a form for him to turn into, he won't change into it if Naruto can't think of something 'satisfying' to be. Rating: anything you want it to be. Pairing: NaruHina. You can use other pairings, but don't expect me to read them, and I won't announce them as challenge participants. Update: 9/15/2010: Kitsune Summoning Contract challenge: After bringing Tsunade back, and seeing Sakura ignoring him in favor of Sasuke again, Naruto comes home after a rough day to his (once again) vandalized apartment. Hating the shit he's going through, he is surprised when he gets a few visitors later in the evening. Hinata has come to tell Naruto that she loves him, and that she is going to be branded with the caged bird seal in a week, and that she will never be allowed outside the walls of the Hyuuga Estate ever again. Before being taken away, Hinata manages to slip Naruto a letter from her father. Shortly after realizing what had just happened, Naruto breaks down in tears, and hours later, reads the letter, in which Hiashi begs him to help Hinata, and gives him all of his notes on Fox Demons in the hopes that Naruto will be able to discover a way to save Hinata. Upon hearing of his jailer's plight, Kyuubi confides that he respects Naruto for putting up with all of the shit he's gone through without breaking, and offers him the Kitsune Summoning contract, making a deal that he and his family will become allies with Naruto and all of his descendants, and will help him right the horrible wrongs happening in Konoha, as long as Naruto promises to summon Kyuubi once in a while so he can 'stretch his legs' and to release him before they both die. Naruto accepts, and Konoha soon learns not to mess with his precious people... Pairing: NaruHina. Rating: T or M. Rules: Kyuubi must actually be a good guy. Find a good-guy reason for him to have attacked Konoha (there are plenty in fics on this site). Also, Naruto and Kyuubi must eventually 'clean house' on the Konoha council, and in the Hyuuga Clan. Update: 10/2/2010: Love; Lost, then Found Again is no longer on Hiatus. Don't bother re-reading it, as I haven't changed anything. I'm working on adjusting chapters 17-19 of Hinata's Protector before beginning work on chapter 20 again. Those chapters will be reposted before chapter 20 is posted, so if you want to see what's changed (it won't be much. I'm just getting rid of Lance Kumazuki's OCs), read those three chapters over again after I've posted chapter 20.

Update: 10/16/2010: I'm having a little more trouble than I thought I would with editing Hinata's Protector. I'm not giving up on it; I've just noticed more things I want to change. The gundam stuff will be gotten rid of ASAP. As for chapters 17-19, the first of those (chapter 17) is finally edited properly, but I won't be reposting any of the chapters I edit until all of them are finished being edited.

Update: 10/29/2910: I'm deleting my fics, as soon as the reviews asking why have died down. I know a lot of you like them, but a lot of things in them are crappy, and I feel like writing different fics anyway. I will be attempting to post new fics later. Again, I'm sorry.

Update: 11/17/2010: I've re-posted Love: Lost, then Found Again, but with a few differences. Remember that this fic will be a little different this time around, and that I'm probably still gonna take forever to update. Also, An Angel's Love will not be deleted, however, the most recent chapters will be edited so that all loose ends will have been dealt with by the last chapter, and therefore, there will be no sequel.

Update: 5/18/2011: As a lot of you have probably noticed, An Angel's Love has been taken down, and replaced with Love's Wings. Shortly, the same will be done with Love: Lost, then Found Again. As for why I am, or will be, taking these two down, well, lack of motivation, for one, and for An Angel's Love, well, it wasn't going to be fixed anytime soon, and Love: Lost, then Found Again had too many OC's for me to keep track of. I'll say this now: DON'T ASK ME TO PUT OC'S IN ANY OF MY FICS! From now on, anybody who asks such a thing of me will get a solid NO for an answer. Also, Love: Lost, then Found Again has its own replacement in the making, which I am currently calling Hanyou Memories. As always, it will be NaruHina, but unlike a lot of my other fics, it will start post-timeskip. Look forward to it, plz. Oh, and Love: Lost, then Found Again has been formally adopted by author Lance Kumazuki. At least it will be as soon as I get the files to him.

Update: 5/18/2011: 2: I have changed the rules of some of my challenges. Naruto is no longer allowed a harem in ANY of them. You naturally have the right to write a fic as such, but it will not be counted as a part of my challenge, and your PenName will not be added to the list. Likewise, if any of the current authors of the challenge fics decide to give Naruto a harem later on, and I find out about it, their name(s) will be removed from the list.

Update: 6/22/2011: New rule for the challenges! DON'T SUDDENLY THROW RETARDEDLY OVERPOWERED OC'S INTO THE FIC!!! Seriously, the only thing that can make a bad fic worse is when the author suddenly puts some retardedly powerful OC into it, who nobody cares about, and makes them a main character. The only exception for this rule is the Kitsune Summoning Challenge, and the only OC's allowed in it are the fox summons.
