The truth is, I've been writing fanfiction since before I knew what it was. While I was waiting (and waiting and waiting) for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I had this grand idea that I'd write my own. I didn't write it (well, I got out the first chapter, but it was no good and they were all out of character...) but I'd caught the bug. And then I discovered fanfiction.net. After spending about 29379149750 years reading almost daily, I finally got started SERIOUSLY writing, not just scribbling dramatic sentences in my school notebooks.
