Intro'd

Hello, I've been reading Fanfiction for years, but now I finally have an account. I don't know how much I'll actually be writing, but I'll try to put something out.

I should mention that I far prefer reading fanfiction to writing it... And I write my own stories, the stories I make up myself hold precedence for me over any fanfiction I may be working on. So I can't promise updates... I am sorry.

Stats- I am a female geek, in Texas. (No, we don't all ride horses, or talk about cows.)

Fav Pairings-

Rurouni Kenshin- Kenshin/Kaoru, Sano/Megumi, Aoshi/Misao, Yahiko/Tsubame (I'm basically cannon all the way, except where Yahiko is concerned. I have no trouble with him getting together with someone else, someone with more backbone, but no one ever writes him with someone like that! Tsubame from the manga is fine. Tsubame from the anime makes me want to punch something.)

Teen Titans- Raven/Beast Boy, Robin/Starfire, Jinx/Kid Flash, Jinx/Cyborg (but usually only when Kid Flash is not involved.)

Inuyasha- Inuyasha/Kagome, Sango/Miroku, Sesshomaru/Rin, Sesshomaru/Kagura (If you think about it... Rin is actually older than Kagura. Doesn't that weird you out?)

Escaflowne- Van/Hitomi. Forever. Forget Allen. He's a pansy.

Incredibles- Syndrome/Violet. (I still can't believe I read this...)

Final Fantasies- Cloud/Tifa, Zack/Aeris, Squall/Rinoa, Irvine/Selphie, Zidane/Dagger, Vivi/Eiko

Chrono Cross- Serge/Kidd, Glenn/Leena, Glenn/Orlha (it's so hard to tell with secondary characters!)

Skies of Arcadia- Vyse/Fina, Vyse/Akia, Ramirez/Akia (note I say Skies of Arcadia, not Skies of Arcadia Legends, I've never played that game. And I think that Ramirez and Akia would be cool together.)

Fruits Basket- Yuki/Machi, Yuki/Tohru (but not so much anymore), Kyo/Tohru, Kyo/Uo (funny!) Haru/Rin, Shigure/Mei (also funny) Hiro/Kisa

Avatar the Last Airbender- Toph/Sokka (The only fanfiction for this show I will read.)

Labyrinth- Sarah/Jareth.

I have two story ideas kicking around in my head, but I don't know if I'll ever get the chance to write them. One would be a ~very~ long Teen Titans story, focusing mainly on Robin and Starfire, AU. This spawned from reading way too many lame Phantom of the Opera fanfictions. So try this spin on for size.

Welcome to the Coliseum. The special place where the wealthy and powerful in this dimension may alleviate their stress by watching poor slaves fight to the death. Enter Starfire, a young Tameranean freshly caught for the games, sure she's strong, but she hasn't the foggiest idea how to fight beyond, 'my fist meets your face'. Meet Robin. A strange masked figure who haunts the Coliseum, and causes trouble for it's owner, Slade. Robin meets Starfire and begins teaching her to fight- he believes that with her help, he can topple the regime set up by Slade and his minions. Cyborg is an old fighter, the first that was trained by Robin, in his last fight he was torn to pieces, and barely survived. He now walks the halls as a Cyborg, a janitor of sorts, who helps out Robin when he asks. They have a strange relationship. Even though everyone has written him off as a failure, he can still fight. Starfire eventually convinces Robin that they will need more help, so he goes on the lookout for new allies. He goes to the Raven, another legend of the Coliseum. Raven is a young half demon stolen from her own dimension and brought to this; she's known about Robin's existance for some time, but doesn't really care one way or the other. After they meet, she directs him to ask the Beast for help- because she can sense that he has thoughts, and if he has thoughts behind his raw power then he would be a great ally. The Beast is the pet of Slade's apprentice, Terra. She keeps him collared (think Soto's collar) and in animal form for the most part.

You can see how this would be a long story. I'm dying to read it. That sorta means I have to write it. Unless someone really amazing can write it for me. But I don't anticipate that.

My feelings on dead people are as follows, if it's Tomoe or Kikyo, I will read fics that bash them, but I don't hate them. In Tomoe's case I view her as a necessary occurrence in order for Kenshin to go with Kaoru. I actually really liked/respected Kikyo until she was brought back to life. I don't like Terra from Teen Titans. Sorry. Raven's my favorite character, and I ship Raven/Beast Boy. So me no likie the blond freakazoid who betrayed everyone.

On other dead things... vampires. Hate 'em. If I'm reading a story with vampires in it, it had better be incredible and have a minimum of bloodsucking. None being preferable. Seriously, if you think about it, vampires are basically undead spiders. Spiders suck blood/fluid/whatever from their prey, so do vampires. Gross.
