It's that time of year again (well, almost, I guess). The time of year where I will barely have time to breathe, let alone write, due to basketball and schoolwork. You know, all that fun stuff. I'll try to update every once in a while, but I won't be writing much come February. Sorry, guys. :(

A NOT-SO-SHORT BIO

This is the little piece of the Internet provided so that I may talk about myself.

I hate talking about myself.

. . . Well. This is awkward.

Let's just start off with a basic list profile, 'cause I'm that unoriginal. -nodnod-

~List Profile~

Name: Smart Aleckette. My original username was Stealthstar, a typical name for my home fandom of Warriors. . . but then I wanted something that wasn't that typical and didn't sound stupid. So I decided to change my name to Smart Aleckette, because 1. I am a smart aleck (more evident in person than online), and 2. Smart Aleck was taken at the time, and adding -ette onto the end made it look cooler. But I prefer it if you call me Alette, since that's my nickname on this site.

Location: Canada. We Canadians are a peaceful people, who live in igloos and have pet moose tied to maple trees in our backyards. Also, we have funny accents and say "eh" all the time. Oh, and it snows 24/7 all year long. Quite obviously, I am making this stuff up, but yes, I am Canadian.

Mental State: I am aware of my craziness. I blame genetics. -nodnod-

Favourite Books: The Harry Potter series, Tamora Pierce's books, Eric Walters's books (though I can't seem to find any of them anymore. . .), The Book Thief, the original Warriors series (writing so many of them drove the books into the ground, in my opinion), The Robe, The Big Fisherman. . .

Favourite Video Games: The Ace Attorney series (pure win), Time Hollow, Harvest Moon, Scribblenauts, and MySims.

Favourite TV Shows: Rick Mercer Report, Corner Gas, the Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show (I refuse to let go of my childhood), Junk Brothers, Little Mosque on the Prairie, Survivor, and the Amazing Race.

Favourite Bands: I go more for individual songs than bands. But Blue Rodeo, Bon Jovi, and The Beatles win at life. :)

Hobbies: Reading, writing, playing video games, playing basketball, kicking ass in board/card games, making fun of the Family channel (the Canadian equivalent of Disney for you American folks), talking to my friends on FF, annoying people in real life.
