Author has written 18 stories for Metal Gear, and Silent Hill. Name: Andi Mack Age: 22 This creature is: Female Location: Savannah, GA Fandoms: Metal Gear, Silent Hill Signature writing elements: Coming-of-age tone and resolution, after school special-esque advice and dialog, traumatic moments/situations, major health crises or scares I am a lover of all things Metal Gear Solid. The storyline is so rich and deep and provides so much to let the imagination run away with. I first picked up the game when I was 12 but waited until I was the age of 20 (currently 21ish) to start writing down all my alternative ideas for the game and characters on paper. The "Overpoured" series (check my stories for it) was my first crack at fanfiction and, I don't think I did too badly even though in the future, I may rewrite it. I love to play and manipulate with people's emotions which is why I write so much for Metal Gear, too. It's so easy to suck someone into that world with all the characters and situations. So, a lot of what I write deals with death, pain, hopelessness, abuse, emotional and mental anguish...all the stuff that invokes the most powerful feelings from people. In lamest terms, I write for emotional effect and not character accuracy. Writing is the passion that's been with me the longest but I also do photography, a little voice acting, and a little graphic design. I do have a site where I interview people and it's called The Back Room and you can go to it here: http://www.backroominterviews.net So far, I've been lucky enough to interview a few of the voice actors from the Metal Gear Solid games, one being the very talented and amazing Christopher Randolph, who voices Otacon in the games. I actually interviewed him around the time I was writing "The Opposition" (check my stories for it) which was pretty mind blowing and added a whole new feeling to it for me. I do want to branch out and write fiction for other things, perhaps for the TV show "Instant Star" or for the "Resident Evil" and "Silent Hill" games. But right now, you can just expect more Metal Gear stuff from me than you can shake a Stinger Missile Launcher at. It's what I know the best as I have missed games, episodes, and plots from the other stuff. I do write orginal stuff as well, but I unfortunately haven't finished any of it. I have a few screenplays and one short story in the works that I'd like to see completed before we catch up to the year that Guns of the Patriots takes place in (2014). Maybe I'll finish my short story, Day Job. I'm not perfect and since I don't have anyone to proof read these stories before they are published, stuff does slip through the cracks. Once you've written something, it's hard to try and look at it like someone who's never seen the words before so your brain sometimes reads it the way it should be and not the way it actually is. But, I'm not here to teach science... I hope you guys enjoy my stories and get something out of them. You don't have to review them (it's nice when you do, though) but if you're going to, please try to refrain from one or two word reviews. It's a little bit insulting, believe it or not. I depend on you guys to tell me if what I'm posting is crap or not and why it is or isn't to you. And more importantly, I depend on you guys to feed my ego.
