I'm going to try to update again, but it will be rather slow going, especially for Zula. Things are hard right now. Our grandmother has dementia and she's getting worse every day. She and Zula were really close, so it's pretty hard on her. I hope you guys understand.

Hey everybody. I'm terribly sorry, but both mine and Zula's story will not be updated for a long time now. Our family has a lot going on right now, and I'm afraid that we won't be able to update for a while. I'm very sorry everyone.

Love Immortal is not going well. At all. I'm very disappointed in it, and am slowly losing my motivation to continue it. I'm putting in on hiatus for a while. Sorry to the three people who liked it, (loonygrl21, Minerva M Mcgonagall, snakeliontwins,) but I can't keep writing a story that everyone hates. I've got to try something else. I'm hoping to get the first chapter of Whenever I Fell, (it's a Zutara story,) up within a few days. With school back in full swing, it could be a while. I'm gonna take a Harry Potter break for a while. I need a stronger fan base. Sorry to any fans of Love Immortal. I promise I will finish it someday, just not right now. I'm afraid I can't tell you when. Sorry!

Life

Should be lived to the fullest. It gets hard at times, but you must press on. You must.

Hunger

So many people on the street,
No proper shoes or food to eat.

Religion

Yeah, I'm a Catholic. We are stereotypically the most narrow-minded religion of them all. And no, I don't agree with everything the Church says. But I do agree with the faith. And let me put it this way: You tolerate me, and I will tolerate you. I don't care what your beliefs are, but I would appreciate the same respect.

Gay Marriage

1) Gay marriage is not natural, and as Americans, we always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and lyposuction.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears's 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans...

Mental Illness

Don't even get me started. Let's just say I've had personal experience with this particular subject...

My Fics

My fics are often angsty, sometimes dramatic, and sometimes light and fluffy. Often there is a darker element even to the fluffiest stories, such as The Season of Love. Here are my policies on some of the the themes I use

Romance

Romance will be in most of my fics. It's such a common element in literature, and let's face it, who doesn't love a good romance story? My main ships are AD/MM, HP/HG, Zutara, Taang, and...actually, just those four are my faves. There will be no romance scenes above T level.

Slash/Femmeslash

I have no problem with homosexual people. I treat slash the same way I treat het fics. I may write some slash fics, but don't expect me to go into sexual details, because I will not. As with het couples, I will not write anything above T level. Slash is not my favorite thing to write, and I'm extremely bad at it, so don't expect all that much out of me.

Abuse

This is a very sensitive topic, and I will use it many times. Abuse includes molestation. I like to dig deep into the emotions of the characters who have suffered the abuse, whether it be physical or mental. There is already a fic up that has Minerva being abused by her husband, so this theme will come up again in the future, most likely. I try not to make the scenes too graphic, and most likely I will just mention it, and not describe it in detail. However, there may be some scenes where I will describe it, but I won't get too graphic. If I want something horribly gross and gory to happen, I will not descirbe the happening, just the affects. If I abuse is one of the main themes of the story, and not just as side plot as it is in The Season of Love, the story will always be rated M.

Self-Injury

Also very sensitive. Also will be used. It's fun to delve into the emotions of the person who is injuring themself. I do not cut, and I don't approve of that sort of behavior. Also, as with anything, I will not get too graphic. Because of the sensitivity of this subject, any stories with self-injury will be rated M.

Rape

I will never describe it in detail. I may mention it, but never detail. And I may only mention it to help develop a plot. Never will I go into any detail whatsoever. The only reason I write this stuff is to delve into the emotions of the person. Rape will never be a central theme of any story. Any story that includes or mentions rape will be rated M.

Vulgar Language

I try not to include too much cussing. I believe it is a sign of unintelligence, and most characters are indeed intelligent to a certain extent. However, there are times when these words just slip out, and those moments are sometimes included in my stories. I never use the F word, or G-d--it. Never. Any story with cussing in it is rated T.

Ships

My main Harry Potter ships are ADMM and HPHG. I've recently taken a liking to Harry/Luna, though. I also kind of like HPGW, and NLLL. A far as slash goes, I like Ginny/Luna and Remus/Sirius. However, I make a point to only read good slash, but same goes for het, I suppose. In Avatar TLA, my main ships are Zutara, Taang, and Sukka. My favorite crack pairing would have to be Azulaang, no idea why. As for slash, I like Tyzula and Azutara, for reasons unknown to me. Zutara and Azutara is what I'm most likely to write, with Taang and Sukka as side plots, perhaps. And maybe someday I'll get a Tyzula story up.

OC's

Someday I would love to write a story about an original character. But that won't be for a while. I do include OC's in a lot of my fics, but they have never been the protagonist of any of them. The most important OC I've written so far is Professor Evantrele from Love of the Lioness. She was a pretty major character. Also, Artemis Potter in Season of Love was fairly important as well.
