HEY GUYS! It's a lovely, HOT summer we're having here in the U.S.!

Just letting everyone know that your eyes do not deceive you... I HAVE changed my username from VegHindu101 to CocoaCollidoscope.

I needed an identity overhaul, I guess. Plus, this username is entirely devoted to the fanfiction world and NOTHING ELSE. WOW! (You gotta love gmail!)

I recommend you read ALL of their stories - they range from comical to extreme angst. If I could have an "elite" favorites list, all their writings would be on it.

As for my extremmmmmmmmely long list of favorite stories, please don't be alarmed. I just tag what I feel meant something to me at the time. Sometimes I don't have access to my bookmarks, either. I keep meaning to go through the list and update/clean it up a bit but I haven't had the time or energy. I really wish ff.net had a setting where I could put some of them on "to read" list or "may be finished/hiatus" list or "liked" list but I can't, so the list remains the way it is.

RANDOM THOUGHTS//IDEAS FOR THE CREATIVE MINDS TO PICK UP (PLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEASE write something using an idea on the list!)

Have you ever wondered if Dumbledore takes baths/showers? He's omnipotent-like and thinking that just feels WEIRD...

1. Do you ever think Hermione goes to the beach during the summer?

2. Imagine Ron surfing and Hermione taping a video of it.

3. Can you imagine Dobby at a theme park on a DATE, maybe with Winky?

4. Someone goes back in time - Hermione maybe - and adopts a small Tom Riddle. And by small, I mean he needs to be less than 4. The story shouldn't have too much romance as the main theme - it can be a background thing though. The important thing is it has to be done right, and done well!

5. Random one-shot: Ron meets Hermione when they are kids, and form a magical bond. Hilarity ensues.

6. I really like Fred/Hermione stories. I'd like one when THEY meet as kids. Maybe Fred is on an exchange program to live like a Muggle for a summer. They can attend summer school or camp.

7. Speaking of camps... I'd love to see the Golden Trio at a summer camp, with pranks and childish fun. It can be a mystery, or a sweet small story. They don't even have to be friends.

8. A scene involving two of the major characters playing Battleship. A wizard twist to the game would be cool, but the "muggle" version would work as well. (This is inspired from of my ALL TIME favorite one-shot, "Slap" by Silvver Phoenix.)

9. A story in which Harry loses his parents when he's FIVE instead of one. I always wandered what sort of a difference it would make. I have more random memories from when I was four than when I was one.

10. A story in which Snape has adopted Harry, and must fend off his suitors. (I'm thinking a one-shot will suffice.)

11. I love reading one-shots about Harry bonding with Lily - more comedic than sweet. I don't mind ones with him bonding with James, Siri, or Remmy either. Most of the time they end up being hilarious! I wish more people would write Harry/Lily fics though.

STORIES I CANNOT READ

I do NOT enjoy nor read parent/child or blood-related-siblings stories of a sexual nature, though. I can't, for the live of me, stomach them. They leave me nauseated and disturbed.

The same goes for gross things: anything sexually related to bathroom stuff or extreme violence such as cutting or slicing. Those make me GAG and run away in HORROR. (Stories that have people thrown up against walls are completely different...evil grin)

I love receiving Messages/Comments/Concerns/Recommendations! Interacting with everyone has been tons of fun for me, and I've learned new things.

I am up for reading anything related to Harry Potter, Peter Pan, Pride and Prejudice (and Jane Austen overall), Anne of Green Gables, etc.
