About the Chef
My name is Agnes. No, I have no idea what my parents were thinking when they named me. I like reading, shopping, photography, and painting my nails. I blow out my candles out May 7th every year. I am obsessed with a lot of things, Gossip Girl being only one of them. I write fic purely for fun and have no ambition to be a writer when I grow up!
The Restaurant Policies on...
Spoilers (New Episodes) – I don’t really care if I hear about what’s happening on the show next, but I know that many of you either hate or love them, so I have decided to solve the problem carefully. I will never offer up spoilers in a story or review reply or otherwise but I don’t care if somebody else mentions them. I just don’t want to ruin it for anybody else! Amendment: If I put spoilers in a story, it will only be from promos and CW-approved released clips, and there will be very clear warnings!
Spoilers (Old Episodes) – A lot of my older fics do not contain spoilers for newer episodes, but since even when I go AU after an episode I continue to watch the show, I may sometimes reference newer episodes. Thus, if you are not completely caught up on the show I would not suggest reading my fics. If you have any questions, you can PM me.
Updating –I have a lot of other stuff going on in my life and I write when I have time. Sometimes I will post three fics in a week and other times I will not post for a month. I feel bad about leaving readers hanging, but I never want to update with a subpar chapter or story. I’d rather wait until I have time to write you all something really good!
Reviews – I love them (do you know anybody who doesn’t?). And yes, I do ask very nicely for reviews at the end of the posting of each chapter. However, I do not demand reviews in exchange for updates. I write for myself and I hope people like what I write! I try to reply to every review I get, although if the reviewer leaves no email (aka replies anonymously) I cannot do so. I love my reviewers and if I could bake them all cookies I totally would!
Requests – I will never promise that I will write a fic that I do not plan on writing. If somebody asks me to write a fic for them, I will be honest about their chances of receiving one. That being said, I love getting prompted and writing things for people, so just PM me if you want to do that.
Betas – I beta all of my multi-chaptered fics for characterization and plot continuity. My one-shots tend to be un-betaed. Unless I ask (which I do, occasionally), I do not need any extra beta help other than the people I have already corralled into beta-ing for me (Sharon, Maz). However, I am willing to beta for other people-check out my beta profile for the requirements.

Gossip Girl Fic Exchange – A fanfiction exchange that I mod along with two others over on livejournal. The link is here. We are currently done with the last round of fic exchange and sign-ups for the next round will probably come in August.

White Knight-A one-shot about Blair and Chuck's rocky relationship, set post-Seventeen Candles. It is short and sweet, with no sequel planned, sorry!
Possibilities-A one-shot prequel to "The Third Option", set in an extraordinarily AU verse in which Blair thinks she might be pregnant. Written way before "The Thin Line Between Chuck and Nate," btw.
Blair Waldorf Wishes You A Happy Hanukkah-Blair spends her Saturday night with a yarmulke-wearing Chuck. One-shot, fluff, all-dialogue.
The Laws of Science-A one-shot about how Blair and Chuck's relationship is defined by the laws of science. I get inspired to write a continuation every day in Biology but I have not yet decided how it might be put together. A tentative summary should appear "On the Menu" soon.
Blair Waldorf Strikes Back- First in the Hours/Days/Months trilogy. A one-shot in which Blair takes revenge, set immediately post-1x13 to the prompt "Hours". I quite like it, actually, though it is a monster of a one-shot.
Thursday Nights with Nate-A supposedly fluffy Jenny/Nate, written for perfervidheart over at Gossip Girl Fic Exchange. Of course, since its me, there's a side Chuck/Blair romance and major drama a la Blair Waldorf Strikes Back, but the Jenny/Nate is there nonetheless. I actually quite like this one-shot. It stretched me a lot as a writer, since I couldn't just rely on my love for the ship. Check it out and tell me what you think :) Oh, and in response to a few questions, I am not planning a sequel to this baby.
And Then Blair Waldorf Knocks on Your Door-An alternate ending to 1x14. Basically some Blair/Chuck angst. And fluff. Nothing special, but fun to write. There is no sequel planned, sorry! This was just meant to be a little wish-fulfillment for all us Waldass shippers.
The Return of the Waldorf- Second in the Hours/Days/Months trilogy. Set immediately post Blair Waldorf Strikes Back to the prompt "Days". It is ten chapters and one epilogue describing the eleven days following 1x13 that mark Blair Waldorf's return to power at Constance Billiards and her fledgling relationship with Chuck Bass. Thanks maz4pj for the beta! Current progress: Epilogue posted and DONE!
In the Mixing Bowl (Works In-Progress)
The Third Option-A multi-chaptered sequel to "Possibilities, set in an extraordinarily AU verse in which Blair actually is pregnant. Thank you so much to everybody who has reviewed (and keep them coming :D)! Sorry about the delays, and thank gleechild for stepping in to beta. Current progress: I've got Chapter 8 planned but it'll probably take a little longer to come out. But it will, I promise.
The Future Mr. & Mrs. Waldass - The story of Chuck and Blair's secret relationship from Kati's perspective. To the prompt "Months," this story will complete the Hours/Days/Months trilogy. I planned it to be a one-shot companion to the other stories, but I'll post it in several parts because it is turning out to be a monster (I broke five thousand words a while back and I'm not halfway through yet). Current progress: Still writing. Still writing. I promise!
Harnessing Chuck Bass - Originally planned to just be a one-shot six-hundred word drabble based off promos for Ep 2x5. Now I'm thinking it may be a collection of 500-1000 word snufflets ("snufflets = "snark + fluff + ficlets") about Blair and Chuck. I will update after every episode, so there will only ever be spoilers for the promos for the next episode. Current progress: Posted Chapter 2 ("2x5 to 2x6"). Probably nothing new until after 2x6, but who knows?
On the Menu (Coming Soon)
1. "The Laws of Science" sequel- Will quite possibly have to do with the creation of new cells. Also may not. Who knows?
2. Untitled- Rosalie's perspective takes us through Edward and Bella's fledgling relationship, a multi-chaptered WIP. A Twilight Fic.
3. Debutante Balls and Caviar - A Dan/Serena love story. A one-shot I am thinking about writing from Serena's perspective. Or perhaps Dan's. This couple has really grown on me.
4. The Princess Diaries- A humorous ficlet about Nate and Vanessa. They both watch the same movie for different reasons.
5. Gossip Girl Has Something (Else) to Say - My project for this summer. Gossip Girl needs Blair and Chuck back together, and she is willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish it. I'm planning to get started on this after I have updated both things that are "In the Mixing Bowl."
6. Untitled - A one-shot Georgina P.O.V. fic. I am not sure exactly what it will cover, though.
Note: A lot of this "On the Menu" stuff is on the backburner right now as RL is kicking my butt. Things that I am actually in the process of writing are in the "In the Mixing Bowl" section so y'all have a better idea of what I'm actually working on.
Second Note: Why is this profile restaurant-themed, one might ask? I have no idea... I can't cook a thing besides toast. And that, I burn.
