Author has written 2 stories for Warriors.

The cat on my avatar is the main character for one of my new fanfics; I haven't exactly started yet, but I have the plot and characters in mind. x3

Random theory: You know what would be the BEST twist to the truth of the prophecy in Warriors: Power of Three? It's common belief that Jaypaw, Hollypaw, and Lionpaw are the three cats mentioned in the prophecy--but WHAT IF HOLLYPAW OR LIONPAW ARE NOT ONE OF THE THREE CATS? It could be Whitewing! Come on, seriously! She fills out the requirements, neh? Cloudtail = Firestar's kin. Whitewing = Cloudtail's daughter. Woot. What a beautiful idea for a fanfic... OH WAIT, WHY DID I SAY THAT!? SOMEONE'S GONNA STEAL MY IDEA. The very fact that I put this up here means, I don't care. :3

When I doodle an animal (like say, a cat from the Warriors series or one of the direwolves from A Song of Ice and Fire), it sort of helps to think of the animal's 'personality'. So, when I doodled the cat for my avatar, I gave her the personality of Sansa Stark from A Game of Thrones--a highborn girl with a gift for songs and every other ladylike thing they did back in the Middle Ages. And I did the same for another cat I did--this time it was after Arya Stark, Sansa's younger sister by two years and the total opposite of Sansa--mistaken for a stableboy by visitors, with a passion for swordfighting. It turned out pretty well, comparing the two cats--one looks sweet and nice, and the other looks a bit mischievous. Yay!

Redoing my bio! Penname in honor of Prince Rhaegar Targaryen from the A Song of Ice and Firesaga. Of the characters I would like to know better, Rhaegar tops the list, as well as Lyanna Stark, Brandon Stark, Ser Arthur Dayne, and all those other dead people that we learn about from bits and pieces of dreams and stories from those who remember and honor their memory--namely Ser Barristan Selmy, Meera and Jojen Reed, and Jaime.

Okay, about me... I guess. Since I only write Warriors fanfics, I guess I'll talk about that a little. The reason why I stopped reading the Warriors: Power of Three series is because from the very beginning, I've noticed that the authors like using 'scapegoats' far too much. Scapegoats are another word for 'sacrifice', although a better definition would be 'someone who is blamedfor an action they did not do, by the one who commited the act'. Well, not a dictionary definition, but it's how I see the word. These 'scapegoats' have all been used to make the main character seem more... righteous, in a way. One example is Mousefur, pg 199 of Warriors: The Darkest Hour:

"It's not a question of who's going to hunt. This is a harder leaf-bare than usual, after the fire. We're all hungry, and we'll need all the strength we can get if we're going to have to fight this TigerClan. I say they should go home." - Mousefur, pg 199, Warriors: The Darkest Hour

The reason why I really didn't like this part was because it makes Mousefur look like a retard. Mousefur isn't a favorite character because we hardly know anything about her except her crankiness--but that's just it, we hardlysee enough of ThunderClan unless one of the main characters addresses them. Back to the point: to survive in the wild, it's a given that the cats must be strong and have a bit of wits, and have the skills necessary to survive. Even then, it's easy for a cat to die in a battle, an accident, etc, like Runningwind and Snowkit (Jaypaw is an exception. Stupid power-crap). So from that, you can expect almost all the senior warriors, including Mousefur, to know that sending Mistyfoot and the two apprentices to their deaths is pretty much helping out TigerClan. Right when Mousefur utters these words, the reader goes, "What the hell? That's bull!" and Sandstorm, an obvious FAVORITE of the MAIN CHARACTER, protests hotly with the exact words that the reader would want to say.

After this, I thought that in a writing style like this, there's no point of a big Clan. All the authors need are the main characters: namely Brambleclaw, Firestar, Squirrelflight, her kits, Sandstorm, and the rest--like old-time favorites, such as Cloudtail, Dustpelt, and even Ashfur as the 'secret villain'. We hardly see Spiderleg, Thornclaw, Whitewing, or Birchfall. Notice how these 'unused cats' are nothing more than 'regular warriors' in both peacetime and wartime. However, the main characters are cats of exceptional skill--and even Squirrelflight matures after she becomes a mother! What, are they implying that having children and mating will make you wiser? Thanks, but no thanks. In a Thornclaw VS. Brambleclaw, who do you think will win? The latter, obviously, from the training from Tigerstar and the fact that Brambleclaw is popular. Very popular. And Thornclaw's been here from... what, the second book, when Brambleclaw came in around the ending of the third/beginning of the fourth? Not that age matters much in this series. The ShadowClan cat Owlpaw that Jaypaw fought with the help of Lionpaw must have been a REAL lackwit, because it takes time to warn Jaypaw of where Owlpaw is, what he's about to do, and for Jaypaw to react with the right moves. Sure he can see in his dreams, but everyone who's chased a stray cat knoes how quick they are. Owlpaw must have been half-asleep to be driven away like that.

But an argument to this is: you know, the Warriors saga is entirely fantasy. Not just mere fiction, like the first series, but ever since they mentioned Leafpaw's and Squirrelpaw's special link, it went beyond the border into fantasy. Not that it's a bad thing. Oh, and like all fantasies, you see Mary Sues and semi-Mary Sues popping up like daisies (Lole Mulan!), namely Leafpool (Who the freak falls in love with a random cat that she's spoken to for only a few minutes, and why the heck would she fall for him the moment when he suddenly confesses his love? Divorce, kids, divorce. Happens all the time.), Squirrelflight (Not before The Sight--but after that, she's too... perfect. Not likable),blah blah blah. I hate Firestar. His favorite word, from the first book of The New Prophecy, is "Stop!" Why is it implied that he and the main characters are the only cats that can see clearly?
